Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today we celebrate The International Day of Radiant Peace. The first annual International Day of Radiant Peace was created on June 22, 1999 as a day for people to remember, celebrate and commemorate Radiant Peace wherever they are. It is now observed on September 22 each year. Celebrate this special day wherever you are! You, yourself, or along with family and friends and many other people around the world can use your own creativity to commemorate and celebrate The International Day of Radiant Peace each year
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Where there is Faith
There is Love.
Where there is Love
There is Peace.
Where there is Peace
There is God
Where there is God
There is no Need.
Hungarian Home Blessing
Peace is something I think we all want and strive for. It’s not always easy to come by but I think it is not impossible to find. Peace is a gift, something God gives. That’s why it’s called, the peace of God. He gives us peace for the journey.
Peace grows and radiates, on the outside as well as the inside of ourselves. Peace guards your heart. Peace begins with us.
We are still having some mildly warm days this week and even though we have had some chilly nights and mornings I'm still not so sure I’m ready to turn the oven on, so today I’m sharing another no bake recipe.
No Bake Peanut Butter Bars
2 cups Semisweet Chocolate Chips
½ cups Creamy Peanut Butter
2 sticks Butter, Softened, Plus More For Greasing The Pan
1 cup Chunky Peanut Butter
2 cups Powdered Sugar
1 box, 12-ounces Vanilla Wafers
1 bag,12 Ounces, Semi-sweet MINI Chocolate Chips
½ cups Chopped Peanuts
For the topping: Using a double boiler or a microwave, melt the chocolate chips and creamy peanut butter. Allow to cool for a couple of minutes while you make the bars.
For the bars: Grease a 9 by 13 inch pan with some butter. Using a stand or electric hand mixer, mix together the butter and chunky peanut butter until smooth. Stir in the powdered sugar a cup at a time.
Add the vanilla wafers to a food processor and process until they are in crumbs. Then add the crumbs and mini chocolate chips to the peanut butter mixture and mix until just combined. Spread it evenly into the buttered pan and set aside.
Pour the topping over the base. Spread it out evenly and sprinkle over the chopped peanuts. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, then cut into 20 bars.
Keep refrigerated, as the bars and chocolate will soften at room temperature.
I’ll be celebrating the day by watching another of the beautiful radiant sunsets we have here. It always reminds me to be thankful for another day. Have faith, love one another and enjoy peace
I hope you all have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Peace is the first thing the angels sang.
Leo The Great
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
3151. for peace, a gift from God
3152. for my flannel sheets, they make chilly nights a bit warmer
3153. for a little sprinkle of cinnamon in my coffee, mmm good !
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
93 Days Until Christmas
Perhaps this year it's not too late to seek three gifts anyone can give and receive: peace, joy and love
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL !

My husband and I are big on peace and insist on it in our home. Without peace, you have nothing, in my opinion.
Happy day!
