Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
September 25th is World Dream Day. It is time to sit back and relax and enjoy Dream Day! But do not use it as an excuse to slip back into bed. Dream Day was set up as a way of helping us all achieve our dreams and to make the world a better place. Come up with an inspiring dream, then work out an action plan to make it happen, and to help everyone else achieve their dreams too.
It is so simple, and there lies its beauty: All you have to do is… dream!
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
You see things; and you say Why? But I dream things that never were; and I say, Why not?
George Bernard Shaw
I would say that if you have a dream that you want to see come true, you have to stay focused and plan and work until it’s fulfilled. Nothing worth having ever comes easy and if it’s meant to be, you can do it. Dreams are possible and I’ve had many of mine come true.
There were also some that never materialized, but they were just not meant to be, but that’s ok, the fun was in the dreaming anyway.
The beginning of Autumn here at my house has been just beautiful. We’ve been having some delightful days and it looks like they’ll continue on until some time next week, then the temps will start to decline and give us a truer sense of fall.
I hope you all have a FANTASTIC Friday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
If you can imagine it,
You can achieve it.
If you can dream it,
You can become it.
William Arthur Ward
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
3160. for dreams that have come true
3161. for the few flowers that are still blooming
3162. for a day to set some goals and make some plans
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
90 Days Until Christmas
Shop at home first! Make sure to check closets and drawers and boxes for holiday supplies, overlooked gifts, and all the holiday wrap and mail supplies we'll be needing in the weeks to come.
Gift items bought at the summer crafts fair. Stocking stuffers collected during the year. Gift wrap bought during last season's clearance sales. Holiday cards or supplies for holiday letters. Stamps, mailing boxes, bubble wrap and packaging tape. Wherever they are, wherever they live, it's time to shop for them at home, first.
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL !
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
Mark Twain
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…
Love,
ma
