Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Toothache Day falls annually on February 9th. But it is by no means a day for us to celebrate toothache. After all, no one loves toothache at all. It is the least thing we want to happen with our teeth. So, no way a day was created to honor it. However, it is known that the ultimate purpose of Toothache Day is to raise awareness about toothache and ways to prevent this annoying thing from happening to you. It is so important that we learn how to take care of our teeth and not only get rid of nasty aches but also stop them coming back or turning into something more serious.
The banks won’t be closed, the mail will be delivered, and we won’t be enjoying a three day weekend. But don’t let that stop you from celebrating the day! The best way to do so is by making an appointment for a checkup with your dentist.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Smile, it lets your teeth breathe.

I am thankful that I don’t have a toothache today, but I do have a tooth that has problems for sure. Last month a filling fell out and the dentist replaced it, but now the tooth that was fixed has broken off. I’ll have to have it pulled, but it’s not bothering me, so it’s going to have to wait awhile.
Speaking of thing that were fixed and are once again having problems, my refrigerator got fixed last month too. I had to call the repairman back to fix that last week. Hopefully this time the repair will work, but you know what they say…usually it is the 3rd time that’s the charm. We’ll see...
Like taking preventative care of our teeth, there is just not always away we can prevent old things from wearing out. I’m getting old and wearing out too, who knows what might need fixing in the future. One thing I know, maybe two is that we are only as old as we feel. Yesterday, I felt 20; today, I feel more like 90. Tomorrow, who knows?
We are only assured of today, this moment, so why worry about tomorrow.
I hope your day is free of any aches or pains, and that you have a Happy Monday !
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Blessed are they who hold lively conversations with the helplessly mute, for they shall be called dentists.
Ann Landers
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. Sometimes it seems as if I’m repeating a lot of things that I’m thankful for, but no moment is really ever the same and every day is a new beginning. There is always, always something to be thankful for.
2477. for a tooth that may have problems, but doesn’t ache
2478. for a refrigerator that is working, at least for the moment
2479. for things that don’t need fixing

we have a few things need fixing. A leaky pipe and I have a filling and crowns that need done. Have a plan to do one per year though. I have to go on Thursday. Have a great week.
I liked your comment that one day you feel 20, the next day 90. I can totally relate to that :)

I'm back in on the 23rd to start the work on my implant to fill the hole left by the shattered tooth last month. UGH... Toothache Day!
