Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
February 11th is Don't Cry Over Spilled Milk Day. This holiday is in recognition that everyone spills a little milk now and then. It's a day to be optimistic, think positive, look on the bright side, and to find something good in everything that happens. As the song says: Don't Worry, be Happy!
You should participate in Don't Cry over Spilled Milk Day with an optimistic attitude and a smile on your face!
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
You know, you only get to live life once, so there are two things that that yields. One is that there's no point in crying over spilt milk, but secondly you hate wasting time, energy, and whatever talent you've got.
David Miliband
It is better to let bygones be bygones. Don’t worry about the little things that are in the past, and instead focus on the wonderful things that are headed your way! We all make some mistakes and fail, but what is important is that we get ourselves up, dust ourselves off and start all over again. Each new day is a new beginning. The beginning of the rest of your life.
Enjoy life to it's fullest and savor each and every day with an optimistic attitude and a smile on your face! We all must realize that unexpected things are going to happen in our life and when it does take a deep breath, don't worry don't fret and don't cry over spilt milk. Just know that everyone goes through bad days and try to take a positive attitude to what ever has happened and have faith that it can be fixed or corrected. This is the only way you can get past it.
Sometimes, if at first you don’t succeed, the answer isn’t always to try again, but to forget it and move on. What is done is done, it’s in the past and what is important right now. Keep things in perspective today. Try to stay positive despite the little things that may irk you, or seem to put a wrench in your plans. Encourage others to do the same.
Nothing exciting about my pictures today. They are of my good cup of hot chocolate that very often warms up my days here. I got some heart shaped marshmallows too, just especially for the month of February!
I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
When we have accepted the worst, we have nothing more to lose.
And that automatically means we have everything to gain!
Dale Carnegie
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. Sometimes it seems as if I’m repeating a lot of things that I’m thankful for, but no moment is really ever the same and every day is a new beginning. There is always, always something to be thankful for.
2483. for hot chocolate and marshmallows
2484. for encouraging words that have positive effects
2485. for milk, always good anytime, with chocolate or without
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU !
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Don't cry over spilled milk. Wipe it up and pour yourself another glass.

A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…

How cute with the marshmellows. Appropriate for this time of year. So true too to let bygones be bygones. Life is too short to harbor things against another.

Your hot chocolate looks very tasty Pam! I must make myself a hot chocolate today. I haven't had one in forever. I try not to hang onto the past. It is difficult sometimes. You just think you cracked it and then something will happen that brings it all back again. But I am doing better! You have a super Thursday! xoxo
