ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
THURSDAY, JULY 1ST, 2021
The moments our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Since laughter is the best medicine, do something for your health today and laugh or make someone else laugh by telling them a joke.
If you can't see the bright side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
I don’t mind making jokes, but I don’t want to look like one.
Marilyn Monroe
When you laugh, your body releases the feel good chemicals called endorphins. Releasing endorphins can help the body’s natural painkilling response. This helps with chronic pain and can improve your mood.
It’s free and available to anyone. And there is no limit to how much laughing you can do. The more the better.
It’s no joke, you can get stress relief from laughter. Just give it a try. It may be short term, but you can do it over and over again.
Laughter can boost your immune system, make it easier to cope with difficult situations. It also helps connect you with others and makes you feel happier.
You can find joke books in most book stores and libraries. Use your best judgement to discern a good joke from a bad or hurtful one.
The pictures today are of some in my family sharing a good laugh. I have to say when we get together there is always lots of laughter.
I hope you have a GREAT day. Happy Thursday!

Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
It’s a requisite for the relaxation of the mind that we make use, from time to time, of playful deeds and jokes.
Thomas Aqininas
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…

Share a good joke today and make someone laugh!
My dad and his brother always seemed to have a joke book handy to entertain we young ones. Later, on youth fellowship trips we teens discovered something called Mad Libs. I think they're still sold, but now I wonder if I'd still find them as hysterical as I did at 16. Tom's daughter is all the time sharing excerpts from some site that collects true-but-embarrassing auto corrects.
I can't believe it's already July! Love the photos today Ma . :)
