ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR TUESDAY, OCTOBER 13TH, 2020

The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

There is no doubt that today is International Skeptics Day… or is there. No seriously this an unofficial holiday to query about each and every thing like a real skeptic would do. Being skeptical doe not exactly men not believing anything but to always keep in mind that things could be different than they way they seem. Scrutinizing things instead of always accepting them can lead to brand new insights.
Today celebrates true facts and the expose of wrong ones.by being a skeptic and asking the right questions. If nobody had ever been a skeptic about established facts them people would still believe the earth is flat. The origins of this day is not clean but everyone can take part in it by querying things and serch for evidence before you believe.
If you can’t see the bright side, polish the dull side

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Most misunderstandings in the world could be avoided if people would only take the time to ask, What else could this mean?
Sharron L. Adler
There is a lot of fake news out there these days and it’s up to each one of us to discover the truth. There is no such thing as a silly question in my books. It’s the way we learn about everything. We should never be afraid to ask a question or to find out the reason why. If we didn’t ask a question, we’d never find out the reason why.
I remember the days my children never ceased asking questions and they would often ask why? Sometimes I couldn’t come up with an answer so I said, because I’m the mom, that’s why.
Today’s question for me was what to have for dinner. And when I typed it in google, I got a good answer. On today’s menu is:
Meatloaf Dinner
2 lbs. lean ground beef
3/4 cup uncooked quck oats
1 onion chopped
1 tbsp. Worchestershire sauce
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp. onion powder
dash of pepper
3/4 cup milk
2 eggs slightly beaten
1/4 cup ketchup
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine gently combine all ingredients except ketchup. Transfer to loaf pan. Bake uncovered about 60 minutes until juices run clear. Tilt pan to drain off Spread ketchup and bake 10 more minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes before .slicing.
I’ll have this with green beans and baked sweet potatoes,
It’s another good day to turn the oven on here at my house today. I’ve not fixed meatloaf in quite a while and I[‘ve been hungering for it. Oatmeal is healthier for us than bread so this is a healthy choice Usually I serve it with roasted potatoes but decided to be a bit healthier and have sweet potatoes instead. It’s a fact they are healthier for us. But don’t take my word for it you can check it out for yourself.
The pictures today are of DS#3’s House which is all decorated for Halloween. They are from last year and this year. I think they’ve added a few decorations.
I hope you all have aTERRIFIC Tuesday!

Fact or fiction , truth or lies, it's up to us to discover the truth.
Love the photos. Meatloaf sounds great, I don't think I've made one since last winter. I think that will be one of the first comfort food meals I'll make if it ever cools down a bit here.
Wow. Your son's home looks like something out of a Hollywood set! How fun they must have had creating it all.! I think meatloaf is the ultimate comfort food ... enjoy!
I'm skeptical with a lot of news I hear these days LOL! Love your son's family's Halloween decorations and house!! Certainly puts one in the Halloween festivities!
