ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11TH, 2020
5
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a special occasion!!

Today is It’s My Party Day which is all about partying. So if you ever needed a reason to celebrate today is your chance! You don’t have to have a birthday , a graduation or a engagement. You don’t have to have any special reason , just do it for the fun of it.
You can party wherever you are. If you have to work, celebrate with your workmates. Whatever, you do have fun and enjoy the celebration !
If you can’t see the bright side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Live for today, plan for tomorrow, party tonight, party tonight !
Drake
I happen to believe that everyday is a cause for celebration. Life is such a gift we have to enjoy it every moment we can.
There’s no-one here at my house to celebrate with today, but I can still enjoy myself and have fun. There’s never going to be another day quite like today and while it’s here I want to make the most of it.
Coming soon will be time to enjoy a party with my family. DS#5 is cooking up his annual pot of ham and beans for Halloween, trick or treat night he always does this and invites us over to enjoy it and that is what the pictures are of today. I’m looking forward to the annual celebration and the time and effort he puts into it for us to enjoy.
For today, I’m enjoying my BBQ pork leftovers in a sandwich. It’s my day to rest and relax and as it’s to be partly cloudy with a chance of rain, I’ll probably have a good afternoon nap! The week ahead looks to be in the 60’s and maybe even 50’s by the end of the week.
I’ll be off to church a little bit later on this morning and am meeting DD and her son there. I’m glad to be able to get back to going once more. It’s been nice to view services on the internet, but it’s just not the same.
I hope you all have a RELAXING Sunday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate.
Oprah Winfrey
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
8543. for a day to party. Life is a celebration.
8544. for happy memories and pictures to share.
8545. for a good long afternoon nap
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
My advice for life: dance and sing your song while the party is still on.

Glad you guys will be doing the usual Halloween celebration from before Ma! There are "big" discussions here on the Next Door app (neighborhood app) about whether kids should be out trick or treating this year. I think they should LOL and will have candy ready for whoever comes to our door :)
Always a good reason to have a party and celebration any day! Lots of fun things to celebrate!!
Glad you are back to going to church in person. You are right, the online service just isn't the same. We discovered that 2 months back and as I think I mentioned before changed churches to one that was doing in person service as our former one still hasn't gone back to in person but plans to October 25th.
Enjoy your nap!

"It's My Party" Day? Let's sing along with Lesley Gore. :)
Love these photos! Makes me want to go put on a sweater and enjoy some of your son's homemade soup.
