MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Ah! Christmas, the biggest holiday of the year. Christmas has both a strong religious and traditional meaning. It has a certain feel, all to itself, that you usually do not feel at any other time of the year. It creates within us, a sense of kindness and concern for fellow man. At no other time are we more generous and giving. It creates a sense of family and belonging. It is a time of family and giving. It is truely a time that comes but once a year. Christmas is celebrated in most countries around the world!
MERRY CHRISTMAS !
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
As long as we know in our hearts what Christmas ought to be, Christmas is.
Eric Sevareid
MERRY CHRISTMAS! It's a nice quiet and peaceful morning here at my house. I’ll be basking in the smells and delights of Christmas. I’ve got my pine scented candles, some cookies and some good Holiday Spice coffee or Christmas tea, and egg nog here to enjoy. And lots of Christmas music playing.
I do have some fond Christmas memories of times long ago when my children would be up early and opening their stockings to see what Santa left for them. There were times you could hardly see the tree, with all the gifts around it. But they made short work of that, in no time at all wrapping paper covered every inch of the floor.
We will seeing a Full Moon on Christmas Day. The last time we saw a Full Moon on Christmas Day was in 1977, so it seems that a Full Moon on Christmas Day is rare. Take this time to treasure this beautiful gift that God has blessed us with to see on this special day as well. The next Christmas Full Moon will not occur until 2034.
Where ever you are today I hope you all have a Merry Christmas!
God grant you the light in Christmas which is faith;the warmth of Christmas, which is love;
the radiance of Christmas, which is purity;
the righteousness of Christmas, which is justice;
the belief in Christmas, which is truth..

3437. for our Savior, born on Christmas Day
3438. for a cup of Christmas tea, extra good with honey
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL !
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Christmas is most truly Christmas when we celebrate it by giving the light of love to those who need it most

Oh! Your mention of (your) children opening their stockings to see what Santa brought them makes me smile. You see, I was never led to believe Santa was responsible for bringing presents under the tree ... that was momma, daddy and my grandparents. 'Santa' was only responsible for those trinkets in my stocking. Nice nudge down memory lane ... thank you, Ma!
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas... we had very few Candy Canes here this week, and gave them all away at our party. :-)
