When it comes to awesome holidays, March 10th takes the cake! It's International Day of Awesomeness. A day for celebrating all things awesome, and everything awesome that you, your friends, and everybody else does.  People are awesome every day and frequently don't realize it, and their feats of awesomeness are rarely recognized.  So take a moment to consider everything that you’re awesome at, and to recognize feats of awesomeness performed around you for the Day Of Awesomeness.  It is a day to celebrate how special and unique we each are!

You don’t have to save the world or leap tall buildings with a single bound, often, it’s the little things that make us the awesome individuals that we are!

Remember:  No one’s perfect, but everyone can be awesome.

Whether you get to the end of the day and say, What an awesome day! or What a waste of a day, often comes down to the choices we make and our attitudes are everything !

Last Saturday I was able to celebrate my birthday with some of my family and knowing how much I love the beach DDIL#5 made some delicious Sand Pudding cups for all of us to enjoy.  That is what is in the picture shown above.  Here is the recipe in case you need a little mini trip to the beach.

Sand Pudding

1 pkg Vanilla Wafers

3 Oreos, optional

8 oz Cream Cheese

¼ C Butter

⅔ C powdered sugar

2 small pkgs. or 1 big pkg. Vanilla pudding mix

2¾ C Milk

12 oz Cool Whip

Crush Oreos and Vanilla Wafers in a food processor to resemble sand.  In a separate bowl, cream together softened 8 oz cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar. In another bowl, mix pudding with milk.  Add to cream cheese mixture.  Fold in cool whip.  You can layer into buckets or cups with crumbs, pudding, then top with crumbs.  It really does look like sand. She topped hers with some cute gummy candies and an umbrella.
