Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Each year on the 9th of March, people across the country, celebrate National Get Over It Day. Just as it sounds by it’s name, National Get Over it Day, that is what we are to do; GET OVER IT.
It's the day to celebrate putting things behind us. Breathe in, breathe out, and let it go!
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
There always comes a point in life when you've had enough and just have to let go of the things that keep weighing you down no matter how convincing they seem that you can't do without them. It's just a matter of time you'll surely get over it.

Today I’m trying hard to get over loosing an hour of sleep this past weekend and the fact that I’m another year older too. A good way to get over something that is bothering you is to write it down on a piece of paper and then tear it up and throw it away. Poof it will be gone !
It would be nice if all our problems were so easily solved. Letting go of things is not always easy, but I’ve discovered it is often necessary for our own peace of mind.
On the Bright Side I’ll get that extra hour of sleep back in the Fall and I really don’t feel much different at all even though I’m officially a year older.
The week ahead is to be much warmer here and I’m so over winter that it will be good to feel a bit spring like. Depending on how the wind blows, I may even be able to turn the furnace down a notch or two.
I hope this new week is off to a great start for you ! Happy Monday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.
Dr. Seuss.
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
2562. for temps near 50 this week
2563. for puddles where snow used to be
2564. for all the awesome food I enjoyed this past weekend…from the huge fish sandwich and donuts, to the burgers and deep fried vegetables and oreos, and my favorite cake!
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU ALL !
ADVICE FOR TODAY
It's ok to cry yourself a river of tears when your heart is broken, but remember to build a bridge and get over it.

"Let it Go Day"... perfect!
It is good to let things go and not allow them to harbor bitterness into us. We didn't change the clocks but my time clock at work sprang forward so I'm dealing with trying to get that back on our correct time :)
Good to hear it is going to be a bit warmer this week, Ma! I hope that is a trend that continues for the rest of March!
betty
I hope that your weather will continue to warm up. I'm getting around to changing the clocks we have so many to change their or clocks on everything. Ha. I do wish they would leave it alone. Take care.Jean
