THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks:
for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Praying together with others is a very powerful and rewarding thing. When two or more people gather together, Jesus is there in our midst. By prayer one acknowledges God's power and goodness, and one's own neediness and dependence.
Jesus said to bring our every need to God in his name and assures that, whatever you ask the Father in His name, He will give you. Prayer works, but you have to try it to believe it. God’s solution is just a prayer away. And for all we know, our blessings are not the fruits of our prayers alone, but those of another praying for us. Someone is praying for you, be thankful.
I’m praying for DS#1 and his family today as they are moving into their new home.
Bless this home, Lord
and all who are within,
whether it be the love of a family
or the closeness of friends
Watch over this home, Lord
come sunshine or rain,
with the sounds of laughter
to always remain.
For within these walls
is a love so dear
that grows in strength
from year to year.
This home . . . Your Blessing
This week has gone by very fast and as usual, for me, I only got about half done, what I had planned to do. On the Bright Side, I also got a few things accomplished that I hadn’t planned on.
Earlier this week my youngest sister called to let me know that she was bringing over lunch to celebrate my birthday, so today I’m having lunch with both of my sisters. It’s a treat I’m sure I’ll enjoy and the company of my sisters is always a joy!
I hope you all have a fantastic Friday !
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Faith is not without worry or care, but faith is fear that has said a prayer.

PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU ALL !
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Remember this:
Any concern too small to be turned into a prayer is too small to be made into a burden.

A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…

I had not realized it was World Day of Prayer, but I am been praying for guidance all day long. Have the happiest of birthdays, MA!
How wonderful that you got to spend some quality time with your sisters. I hope you had a fab time together. I don't know where I would be without prayer. It is an integral part of my life. I am grateful for the prayers of others and I uphold many others in my own prayers. The family that prays together stays together. I believe that. xxoo
