70 DAYS UNTIL FALL
Sunrise: 6:08 am
Sunset: 9:00 pm
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
Live without regrets on July 15th. It's Toss Away the 'Could Haves' and 'Should Haves' Day. Forget the past and move on boldly.
The saddest summary of life contains three descriptions: could have, might have, and should have.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Whatever could have been or should have been, doesn't matter. This moment is here and now for you to live.
Ralph Marston.
I think that we have all had things in the past that we wish we could have done differently, or something we wish we didn’t do. As we get older we learn and grow. But that doesn’t mean we have to regret what we did before we learned how to do things differently. If we didn’t go through those experiences we might not have grown into the strong and knowing people we are today.
I'm a firm believer that things happen for a reason and it's up to us to choose how we handle those events in life. That is what matters. We need to get rid of the could have’s, might have’s, and should have’s, and start living a life that won’t make us feel regretful. Be thankful for what you have now instead of thinking about what you don’t have.
One day at a time is all we have, so let's make the most of it!
I hope you all have a great start to this new week! Happy Monday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit.
Albert Einstein
I am trying to count at least 3 things I'm thankful for each day and then in 1 year's time I'll have counted 1000 gifts. I’ll be sharing them and giving thanks to God for these gifts each day.
763. for wonderful hours spent on the porch
764. for my summer Bible study that is really shedding a new light on my perspective
765. for sunlight and it's positive effect
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU !
Wrinkles should merely indicate where smiles have been.
Mark Twain
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…
Love,

You are right - we all have things we wish we had done differently. It is what we are doing now that counts. Blessings
I agree--regret is pretty much a waste of energy. I love St. Francis' idea of ongoing or continuous conversion--always new!
I, like many, have lots of regrets and things I wish I had done differently, but I try not to dwell on them. You cannot change what you cannot change! You can only strive not to repeat your mistakes! Love the idea of putting down three things a day, the thoughts, the quotes, etc. I love it all! Another fabulous post! xxoo
