ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
NOVEMBER 21ST, 2011
It's MONDAY!
WORLD HELLO DAY
Hello Day encourages us to take the opportunty to simply greet people, and to recognise how important simple communication is in our daily lives, and for peace between peoples. Promote peace today by offering a friendly greeting to at least 10 people.
Hello everyone, I do hope your day is a peaceful one !
When all the leaves are off the boughs,
And nuts and apples gathered in,
And cornstalks waiting for the cows,
And pumpkins safe in barn and bin,
Then Mother says, My children dear,
The fields are brown, and autumn flies;
Thanksgiving Day is very near,
And we must make thanksgiving pies!

PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU!
AROUND HOME
Peace and war begin at home. If we truly want peace in the world, let us begin by loving one another in our own families. If we want to spread joy, we need for every family to have joy.
Mother Teresa
This week we'll all be getting ready for the big Thanksgiving feast. It is a wonderful time of year when we all think about the things we are thankful for and that always makes us joyful.
I always start my thankful list with being thankful for my family. They have all been my cause for joy over the years. There is nothing that I know of that can make me happier than to see them all well and happy.
Hopefully you'll be making your list too.
COUNTING THE DAYS
There is a wonderful mythical law of nature that the three things we crave most in life - happiness, freedom and peace of mind - are always attained by giving them to someone else

A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone near…
