TODAY'S THOUGHT
I am only one, but I am one. I can't do everything, but I can do something. The something I ought to do, I can do. And by the grace of God, I will.
Edward Everett Hale
JUST FOR TODAY
We all need to look for the silver linings in our day-to-day lives
Just for today: Before any activity or decision, and especially if I don't feel up to the task at hand, I will call upon the power and presence of Christ. He is always available to help me gracefully move through life
TODAY’S QUOTE
If you think you're too small to be effective, you have never been in bed with a mosquito

IT’S TUESDAY !!
Happy
Terrific Tuesday everyone! We made it though another Monday so today must be a good one!
Outside my window yesterday I noticed another one of those huge flock of birds flying south. At least they had a great day for flying. It actually got up to 70 degrees and the skies were clear and blue and just beautiful
Today is supposed to be just a little cooler with a few clouds but still nice. Thursday evening is our Trick or Treat night so I’m hoping this mild weather stays around for awhile.
I talked with DS#4 last evening. They have a adopted a chocolate lab puppy and have lots of excitement at their house this week . He’ll be traveling quite a bit for work in the next 3 weeks so I’ll be praying for safe travels for him.
I haven’t mentioned it yet but this coming weekend we do turn our clocks back one hour. So this is my
first official warning
Before you go to bed Saturday night don’t forget to set your clocks back one hour.
DD and her hubby are going to visit some of his relatives this coming weekend so I hope they remember to change the clocks before they leave home.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Dear God, thank you for your love that never leaves us. Help us to remember that you are always with us, even through our darkest times
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU!

TODAY’S SMILE
There once was an oyster, whose story I tell;
Who found that some sand, had gotten into his shell.
It was only a grain, but it gave him great pain;
For oysters have feelings, although they are plain.
Now, did he berate the harsh workings of fate,
That had brought him to such a deplorable state?
No, he said to himself, Since I cannot remove it,
I'll lie in my shell, and think how to improve it.
The years rolled around, as the years always do,
And he came to his ultimate Destiny...stew.
Now the small grain of sand that had bothered him so,
Was a beautiful pearl all richly aglow.
This tale has a moral, for isn't it grand,
What an oyster can do with a morsel of sand?
Think... What could WE do, If we'd only begin,
With some of the things that get under OUR skin?

We are debtors, then, my brothers — but not to the flesh
Romans 8:12
The only debt we should owe is the debt to love one another. We owe each other love, encouragement and respect. Most of all, we owe a debt of love and gratitude to God
