TODAY'S THOUGHT
The foolish person seeks happiness in the distance, the wise person grows it under his feet

JUST FOR TODAY
We all need to look for the silver linings in our day-to-day lives
Just for today: I will have faith that whatever I seek, I will find. Wherever I go, I make myself at home by sharing the love in my heart. I am encouraged as I look for the best in every person and situation
TODAY’S QUOTE
Life can be real tough… you can either learn from your problems or keep repeating them over and over
Marie Osmond
IT’S TUESDAY !!
Today is supposed to be the most terrific day of the week and I’ve finally figured out why. It’ s because we made it through another Monday.
Monday’s just don’t get any easier for me. I’m thankful for each day but waking up after a nice restful weekend and heading out the door on a cold dark morning just isn’t much fun.
I’ve noticed that the trees are becoming more colorful in the past few days. We still have some green trees though and we also have some bare trees already. With the unusually cold weather we’re having and all the rain, it is a blessing that we have the brilliant colors to brighten our days.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
O God, teach us to seek your will in everything. Help us to give up what is temporary and unworthy in your sight
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
God Bless You!

TODAY’S SMILE
Because of an ear infection, a family friend had to take Casey, her son, to visit the pediatrician.
She was impressed with the way the doctor directed his comments and questions to her son.
When he asked Casey, Is there anything you are allergic to? Casey nodded and whispered something in the doctor's ear.
Smiling, the pediatrician wrote out a prescription and handed it to my friend. Without looking at it she tucked it into her purse.
Later, as the pharmacist filled the order, he remarked on the unusual food-drug interaction my friend's son must have. When he saw her puzzled expression, he showed her the label on the bottle.
As per the doctor's instructions, it read, Do not take with broccoli
One more…
Living on Earth is expensive, but it does include a free trip around the sun every year.
Ever notice that the people who are late are often much jollier than the people who have to wait for them?
If Walmart is lowering prices every day, how come nothing is free yet?
We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors... but they all exist very nicely in the same box.
A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour
