TODAY'S THOUGHT
The pessimist may be right in the long run, but the optimist has a better time during the trip
JUST FOR TODAY
We all need to look for the silver linings in our day-to-day lives
Just for today: I will be aware of my thoughts and the feelings they invoke
Self-talk is about self-awareness and recognizing how your thoughts affect how you feel and ultimately what you accomplish
TODAY’S QUOTE
Make one person happy each day and in 40 years you will have made 14,600 human beings happy for a little time at least

IT’S THURSDAY !!
I don’t know how the weather is at your house, but BRRRRCHILL!
It is really chilly around here. The only presence that the sun made at all Wednesday was a few brilliant moments of red in the sky when it came up yesterday morning. Red skies in the morning…sailors take warning. Yes, there is more rain in the forecast. Friday still has those flakes around a cloud in its projected weather prediction.
It looks like it will be a quick and cold and maybe wet close up day on Saturday for us at the campsites. I was hoping to give the camper a good cleaning, but I may not want to linger around that long. It would be nice to have a little sunshine and warmth, but that doesn’t look possible right now.
I do have my other half a day off on Friday and I think I’ll take that time to get the things I brought home last weekend put away so I can make room for the rest of what needs to come home. I could leave more of it there but I’m afraid of those winter visitors…the mice.
Tonight is the Questions about our Faith meeting at church. Other than work things remain pretty quiet and ordinary around here. I do love ordinary days!
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Dear God, strengthen our faith so that we pray with confidence, and open our eyes to see how you answer. In Jesus' name

Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their

Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU!

TODAY’S SMILE
Heart Thoughts . . .
When you meet someone with an icy smile, you can expect a few well-frozen words.
Never look down on someone unless you're helping them up.
Punctuality is a virtue, but only if combined with patience.
The person who fears suffering is already suffering from what he fears.
The person who blows their horn the loudest is probably in the deepest fog.
Whether circumstances makes one bitter or better
depends entirely upon the I.
A true friend laughs at your stories even when they're not so good,
and sympathizes with your troubles even when they're not so bad
ONE MORE…for the golfers
It was a sunny Saturday morning on the first hole of a busy golf course and I was beginning my pre shot routine, when a piercing voice came over the clubhouse loudspeaker.
Would the gentleman on the women's tee back up to the men's tee please!
I could feel every eye on the course looking at me, but I was deep in my routine, seemingly impervious to the interruption.
Again the announcement, Would the MAN on the WOMEN'S tee kindly back up to the men's tee.
I ignored the guy and kept concentrating, when once more,
the man yelled
Would the man on the women's tee back up to the men's tee, PLEASE!
I finally stopped, looked back at the clubhouse, cupped my hands and shouted....
Would the man in the clubhouse kindly be quiet and let me play my second shot!
TODAY’S REFLECTIONGod's kindness is an invitation to you to repent
Romans 2:4
Although we are so small in the universe and our time on earth is so short, our lives have astounding and everlasting consequences. Therefore, we must make the most of this moment in eternity by loving the Lord with all our hearts
TODAY’S ADVICE
Pine needles are great for insulation. They make a wonderful mulch for perennials, strawberries, and any shrubs and trees that like acid conditions. They also can prevent problems with shallow-rooted plants caused by freezing and thawing
