ON THE BRIGHT SIDE OCTOBER 22ND, 2009
TODAY'S THOUGHT
The time to relax is when you don't have the time for it.
JUST FOR TODAY
We all need to look for the silver linings in our day-to-day lives
Just for today: I will honor the past and embrace the future, I am grateful for my life's experiences. God’s love is my support, helping me put one foot in front of the other

IT’S THURSDAY !!
Wow! I have to say the weather here has been wonderful. Warm and sunny. It actually got up to 75 here yesterday and will still be near 70 today. After that well…into each life some rain must fall.
After work tonite is my book club discussion. This is the first time I’ve ever been in a book club so it will be interesting for me to see what everyone will have to say about the book we all read.
It’s thankfully THURSDAY…
I’m so glad tomorrow is Friday!
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Remind us, Lord, to help our neighbors, rich or poor, young or old, no matter where they live. Help us to show Jesus to all people
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU!

TODAY’S SMILE
After her small son fell into the pond and came home dripping, the exasperated mother sent him to his room while she washed and dried his clothes. A little later, she heard a commotion in the back yard. She called out,
Are you out there wetting your pants again?
There was dead silence for a moment.
Then a deep masculine voice answered meekly,
No, ma'am, I'm just reading the meter

Don’t praise yourself. Let someone else do it
Proverbs 27:2
The maker of the stars would rather die for you than live without you. And that is a fact. So if you need to brag, brag about that.
