TODAY'S THOUGHT
Each day is a gift...A glimmering miracle to turn dreams into reality
JUST FOR TODAY
We all need to look for the silver linings in our day-to-day lives
Just for today: I will think of my human family as an interconnected and inner-connected community that has its roots in the spirit of God. Because God is everywhere present, we are not separate from God, nor are we separate from one another. In God's omnipresence, we are one
TODAY’S QUOTE
You have to have a dream so you can get up in the morning

IT’S MONDAY !!
Here it is again! Monday’s sure do come around fast. After closing up the camper on Saturday and working at putting things away on Sunday the weekend just flew by.
DS#6 and his wife stopped in for a short while yesterday afternoon. They’d been in town for the weekend visiting with her family. I got to see pictures of (sonogram) grandchild #13. They are amazing. The little one was even sucking his thumb in one of them. I said he, but we do not know if the baby is a he or she.
On the calendar for the week ahead is our monthly dulcimer get together on Tuesday evening and the church book club meeting on Thursday evening. I did finish the book and was surprised with the ending.
That’s the news from home as I know it…
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

TODAY’S SMILE
Paul Harvey tells the following story:
It was a terrible winter in Chicago. Many of the rooftops were overloaded with snow. Robert McGrath watched his wife go out into the backyard garage to fetch some boxes. Seconds later he heard a crash. Looking out, he saw that the roof of the garage had caved in.Without even stopping for his hat or coat, Mr. McGrath ran from the house, grabbed a snow shovel and called out for his neighbors to come and help.
Yelling and digging with his sweat freezing on his face, frantically throwing snow and pulling away boards, he dug at the rubble until he was nearly exhausted. Then, finally, he heard his wife's voice. Minutes later, he saw her hand. He kept working until his wife was safely in his arms and asked if she was all right. She was.
Now for the rest of the story:
It seems that a neighbor witnessed the whole event and told everyone later what really happened. Apparently Mrs. McGrath had gone into the garage through one door, and left through another! She was safely back in the house when she looked out and saw what had happened. There, by the collapsed garage was her husband – furiously digging and shouting orders and throwing lumber as he desperately tried to rescue her.
He was the picture of love poured out! In that moment, she decided that she could not let that loving man down. So, she put on her coat, went out into the garage by way of the back door and crawled under some boards. Then, she let her husband Bob find her.
Paul Harvey finishes the story by saying that sometimes,
the most loving thing you can do is to let someone else be your hero!
TODAY’S REFLECTION
Let us confidently approach the throne of grace.
Hebrews 4:16
Every day, God invites us to come and receive gifts from him.
Every day, he wants to give us gifts like peace, encouragement, hope, joy, grace to forgive, and insights into his path for our lives. There is no end to the gifts God wants to give us!
Don’t be afraid to approach Almighty God.
He is your Father
