The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.
Slightly adapted from one of my morning devotionals
Life is a special occasion!
Today is National Milk Chocolate Day which celebrates a mix of cocoa solids and either dry or condensed milk. While dark chocolate is traditionally used as a baking ingredient, this lighter version is used to make chocolate candy bars, hot chocolate and many other delicious desserts.
Chocolate actually has mood enhancing benefits as chocolate can make you happy. This is due to the fact that it contains a stimulant called theobromine and a compound called anandarnide.
Celebrate today and enjoy milk chocolate your favorite way.
To see the bright side, polish the dull side
Anything is good if it’s made of chocolate.

Chocolate is one of my favorite things and I usually have a couple of pieces everyday. I have found some sugar free that is very tasty. It’s good and good for you too. Who doesn’t want to feel happier?
Today we are going to be saying goodbye to our guests. Everyone is sad to see them leave so soon, but they have obligations at home.
The rain stopped and they were able to enjoy their time at the water park and my grandson’s team won another basketball game.
Before they leave they want to visit Bucees which is a chain of travel centers known for clean bathrooms and many fueling positions.
It’s the largest gas station I’ve ever seen and they have a stare that has absolutely everything anyone could want. I hope to be going with DD and family, so we can say goodbye to their cousins.
It’s another dark and cloudy morning here with more rain expected today. But we’ll be dry and staying inside for the most part except for the time I spend out on the porch.
I hope you all have a RELAXING Sunday!
Cocoa boosts brain serotonin. Almost every antidepressant aims at either enhancing serotonin or keeping it in the brain longer. Chocolate or cocoa does that very well.
Chris Kilham
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
12,539. for chocolate, it’s good for you!
12,540. for a visit with family
12,541. for a day to relax and rest
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters and EMT’s.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn’t hurt.

a smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…

Enjoy some chocolate today and be Happy!
My John has been making
a lot of s’mores this summer 🍫
Tom has been
-ing lots of leftover chocolate milk from our Christmas in July party. The "frozen hot chocolate" actually called for a packet of hot chocolate mix to be added to the milk, so that was a double whammy!
I like milk chocolate but I prefer dark. I think it is healthier for you. I hate to wish my life away, but I am looking forward to fall. IT has been so hot. We did finally have rain to night - we needed so bad. Hey girl - don't forget to check my blog - missed you.
