ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR WEDNESDAY, MAY 20TH, 2020
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a special occasion!!
Hallmark
Today is Be a Millionaire Day which is the perfect opportunity to dream big and imagine what life would be like as a millionaire. While a million dollars isn’t what it used to be, seeing a seven figure number in your bank account is considered a financial milestone.
The first millionaire in the United States was John Jacob Aster, 1763-1848 Aster made his fortune in trade and later established the first trust in American history. His great grandson John Jacob Astor IV was the wealthiest person aboard the Titanic.
There are many ways to celebrate today. Challenge your family to name as many millionaires as you can or bake a delicious Millionaires Shortbread for a special treat.
If you can’t see the bright side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Money has never made man happy, nor will it; there is nothing in its nature to produce happiness. The more of it one has the more one wants.
Benjamin Franklin
Your will never fully understand what true wealth is until you have something in your life that money cannot buy.
I don’t have a million dollars but do consider my self wealthy. I have riches that don’t involve money. The truest wealth is not counted in money but in the things that bring us happiness. Money cannot buy love. Money can’t buy the truth, it cannot buy time, No amount of money can turn the clocks back. we must simply take life moment by moment while experiencing it to the fullest.
Money cannot buy peace of mind or your health. I can do what I love and love what I do.
There are lots of recipes that have to world millionaire in them, but I’d never heard of the millionaire shortbread mentioned above, so I looked a recipe to share for it today.

COUNTING MY GIFTS
It’s not how much we have but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness.

Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU!

Money cannot buy happiness.
I consider my good health my wealth and a wonderful gift from God. I have all I need and a lot of my wants. I am truly blessed.

Like Betty, I count my riches in those things money can't buy. Sure, it's fun to daydream -- and it would be wonderful to be in a financial position to give to those less fortunate. But dreaming and living in the now are two different things.
Love those little banks!! We are all rich but some just don't know it:)
