ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR SUNDAY, MAY 24TH, 2020
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.
29 DAYS UNTIL SUMMER
Sunrise: 6:01 am
Sunset: 8:49 pm
Life is a special occasion!!
Hallmark
Today is National Brothers Day which gives us an opportunity to recognize and honor the brothers in our lives whether it’s a sibling, step brother, best friend, brother in law, or cousin.
What defines a brother is that they are reliable and trustworthy in all circumstances. Brothers are the men that are also there for us in good times and bad. They may tease us mercilessly and support us unconditionally. whether your brother is a relative , extended family member, or just a really good friend , take the time to thank them for all that they do today!
Happy Brothers Day.!
If you can’t see the bright side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
The only brother I have is my BIL. And I’m glad to say he is a good one! He is my sisters other half and usually makes me laugh a lot. The pictures today are of him and the good time we had co celebrating our birthdays one year. The three of us had not yet celebrated our birthdays so we took the day together to celebrate;
The sunshine is out this morning, but we had thought It was to be another rainy day in Ohio, so I expect he is home watching TV and here I am reading another book. We will not see each other, but still I wanted to wish Him a Happy Brothers Day. They say we’ll probably be in the mid 80’s. Good grief it’ll be like a heat wave for us as we’ve been so cold for so long this Spring.
I’m not complaining, it will feel very good to be warm instead of chilled. After all Memorial Day weekend is the supposed to be the unofficial start to summer! And I’m ready for it!
The dessert we had that day was a good one. It was a warm chocolate brownie with a scoop of ice cream on top and drizzled with chocolate. Mmmm good !It’s no wonder I’ll never be thin, I like to eat way too much!
I hope you all have a RELAXING Sunday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
If you have a brother or sister, tell them you love them every day. That’s the most beautiful thing . I told my sister how much I loved her every day. Thats the only reason I’m Ok right now.
Amaury Nollasco
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
8135. for my BIl, and all brothers
8136. for good food and good people to celebrate with
8137.for desserts, I do have a sweet tooth!
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
To the outside world we all grow old, but not to brothers and sisters. We know each other as we always we’re. We know each others hearts. We share private family jokes. We remember family feuds and secrets, family griefs and joys. We live outside the touch of time.
Clara Ortega
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…
Love,

Thankful to have a brother ( in law)
Coincidence, perhaps, but now I'm wondering if this isn't the reason Tom's sister phoned him earlier today. I was never blessed with a brother, but yours sounds like a great, good-natured guy! Heck, anyone who can make me laugh is right up there in my book.
What yummy dessert to share with your sister and BIL from before! Glad you have a gem of a BIL. I have a brother who is 17 months older than me. He did watch over me growing up. Glad your temps are warming up. Seems like pleasant weather!
