ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 25TH,2019
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a special occasion!!

Today is CHRISTMAS Day, which is a Christian holiday marking the birth of Jesus, a joyous occasion celebrated with loved ones near and far. The festivities include a Christmas feast, gift exchanges, church celebrations, a visit from Santa Clause and holiday parties.
So hang up a Christmas wreath , enjoy some delicious Christmas cookies, kiss a loved one under the mistletoe. However you decided to celebrate today, do so with your family and friends. Merry Christmas!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Christmas will always be as long as we stand heart to heart and hand in hand.
Dr. Seuss
Today’s pictures are of my family that live close by after Christmas Eve church services last year. I took more last night so I’ll have them to share in the coming days.
Tomorrow I’ll be on my way to join the rest of the family and celebrate our family Christmas. Please keep us in prayer as we travel. I’m very excited and just a bit nervous as we have a long way to go I am flying but most are driving so Ill be there before the rest. Hopefully they’ll all keep in touch along the way and let me know where they are and how they’re doing.
Everyone has cell phones these days so it’s very easy to send a text message or a picture.
It remains warm here for us. Temps have been near 50 every day for almost a week now.. So there is no snow for Christmas this year, but still everyone is excited and happy. This trip has overtaken us all and we are so thankful we will all be together.
I hope you all have a WONDERFUL Wednesday! Merry Christmas!

Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU !
