ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!

Today is Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day which honors an American engineer named All Fielding and a Swiss inventor named Marc Chavannes who created Bubble Wrap. They were actually trying to come up with a textured , plastic wall paper, but soon realized that their products had huge potential as a packaging material.
Fielding and Chavannes formed the Sealed Air Corporation and introduced Bubble Wrap to the public in January of 1960. Today, Sealed Air is a global Fortune 500 company and produces enough Bubble Wrap to stretch from the Earth to the Moon each year.
To celebrate today, enjoy popping a roll of Bubble Wrap bubbles! Pop! Pop! Pop!
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
The best preparation for good work tomorrow is to do good work today.
Elbert G. Hubburd
I love bubble wrap and use it often when mailing gifts to my out of state family. It’s the best way I know to protect things when packing them up. The pictures above and below show what I painted for each of my children and grandchildren this year for Christmas. Each family got a painted wooden tray and each grandchild got a snowflake ornament. Right now I’m trying to decide what to paint them for Easter. If I want to have anything ready by then, I’ll have to start soon
I’ve been trying to think Spring and this will help. I love the colors of Spring. They are bright and cheerful and are just what is needed. The very last picture is what I painted for them last year.
But before I can do anything there is work to be done tidying up the spare bedroom and my craft nook so that is what I’m going to be focusing on this week.
I hope you all have a GREAT start to this new week. Happy Monday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Life can be ordinary or it can be great. Given enthusiasm, passion, and a plan, each can and will be a celebration!

Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
6742. for bubble wrap, fun and useful
6743. for people to make gifts for
6744. for plenty to do, I’m thinking Spring
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Think Spring !
How cute with the tray and the snowflakes! I bet everyone loved them. Before we know it, Easter will be here. Already January is almost over. I like popping bubble wrap. Fun thing to do!

Popping bubbles is such a great stress reliever! I'm loving your Christmas crafts … the tray, in particular. Handmade gifts are infinitely more precious.
