I say all the time that every moment we have to live our life is a blessing. So often I have found myself taking it for granted. Every hug from a family member. Every laugh we share with friends. Even the times of solitude are all blessings. Every second of every day is a gift

This is a very long distance birthday, as this granddaughter lives the furthest away of any of my grandchildren and I see her much less too.  It’s been several years since we last had a chance to be together.  So once again I put a card in the mail sending birthday wishes her way.

Today does provide a chance for me to help celebrate a very special day for one of my grandson’s though.  I’ll be traveling to see our Star as he is making his confirmation today.  I’m hoping the roads stay clear as there is a chance of snow later on today and we’ll be traveling toward what they call the snow belt part of Ohio.  I’ll be praying for safe travels for all.

The good news is that it is finally much warmer out and the temps out of the sub zero range.  Next Sunday we’ll be traveling in opposite direction to celebrate the baptism of our little Precious one, my newest granddaughter   January has much to celebrate for my family.

I hope you all have a relaxing and restful Sunday !  Celebrate !

PRAYER REQUEST

DS#4 wrote saying that he had heard from one of his old friends needs some prayers going their way.  His friend’s Mom had a cardiac arrest and was admitted int the ICU. She is sedated right now and they hope she will start to come out of that by today but just wanted to send some added prayers their way..

Please join me in prayers for this mom and her family.  May she be blessed with healing and a full recovery and may her family be comforted at this time of great distress.
