TODAY’S QUOTE
Such as I am, I am a precious gift.
Zora Neale Hurston
IT’S FINALLY FRIDAY !!
After slipping and sliding into work yesterday, the sun did come out to melt some of snow off the roads. It was a deceiving sun though as it was very cold out. I guess they say today will be quiet weather-wise until tonight then more accumulating snow is headed our way.
I got out a lunch time and went to Big Lots to browse around and was delighted to see all the things they had out for spring! Lots of valentine’s items were on display too, but the things for the gardens and such were a spot of sunshine in my day. I didn’t buy anything but a few marked down Christmas gift bags, but I had fun looking around.
Today I’ll finish up my year end reports for work and start the dreaded purging of the file cabinets. I need to do that at home too, but who knows when that will happen.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
May all that I am today, all that I try to do today, may all my encounters, reflections, even the frustrations and failings all place my life in your hands.
Lord, my life is in your hands. please, let this day give you praise..
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU!
25 WORDS
God, I thank You for today, for the ways You will bless me,
and for the ways that I will serve others in Your name
TO REMEMBER…
I am in the hands of God,
and in God’s time all things will be made well.

TODAY’S REFLECTION
Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit. Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 5:18-20
Never mind how beautiful or pitiful you may sound. Sing loud enough to drown out those defeating thoughts that normally clamor for attention. Release yourself from that cage of introspective reluctance --SING OUT! You are not auditioning for the choir, you are making melody with your heart. If you listen closely when you're through, you may hear the hosts of heaven shouting for joy. Then again, it might be your neighbor ... screaming for relief.

I just love your posts Ma! It must take you forever to gather all these things together, but I am glad you do!
I love the story about the mouse & the trap. That is sooo true.... Once again most wouldn't have thought about it in this manner...
Thanks!
