TODAY'S THOUGHT
All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt!
Charles Schulz
TODAY’S ACTION
Put "eat chocolate" at the top of your list of things to do today. That way, at least you'll get one thing done.
Author Unknown
TODAY’S QUOTE
Don't wreck a sublime chocolate experience by feeling guilty.
Lora Brody
IT’S TERRIFIC TUESDAY !!
According to the experts this is supposed to be the best day of the week, but I still think Fridays are better.
Monday was a quiet one at the office and weather wise too. Today we should get a little snow, 3 – 5 inches, but I heard on the radio that southern Ohio may get the worst of it.
We’ll see…
Just think when it is 90 degrees this summer we can think about how bad this winter was and be thankful for the heat.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Lord please help us to leave the past behind and look on today as new beginning.
It is the only way forward.
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
25 WORDS
God, I thank You for today, for the ways You will bless me,
and for the ways that I will serve others in Your name
TO REMEMBER…
I am in the hands of God,
and in God’s time all things will be made well.
TODAY’S TRIVIA
Today is
Big Snow Day. On this date in 1887, during a snowstorm in Fort Keough, Montana, snowflakes were measured as wide as 15 inches
Today is National
Chocolate Cake Day
Chocolate Cake Day is a chocolate lovers delight, and a day to eat cake. Why? This a day to "bake your chocolate cake....and eat it, too!"
On this day, a white or yellow cake will not do. Nor, will part chocolate, part white suffice. It must be chocolate, all chocolate. You can make milk chocolate, dark chocolate, fudge, or any other type of chocolate cake
There are three objectives of Chocolate Cake Day: To bake a chocolate cake, to decorate a chocolate cake, and to eat a chocolate cake. Of course, if you are too busy to bake or decorate a cake, then just eating a chocolate cake will certainly do
1785: The first state university in America, the
University of Georgia, was chartered in Athens
1880: American inventor
Thomas Alva Edison of Menlo Park, New Jersey, patented the incandescent electric lamp
1888 - The
National Geographic Society was incorporated -- in Washington, DC
1956: RCA released its first record by Elvis Presley.
Heartbreak Hotel hit #1 on both the pop and country charts
TODAY’S SMILE
Do you like chocolate? Here's a list of reasons why you should, if you don't already...
Chocolate is a vegetable: it is derived from cocoa beans. Beans are a vegetable.
Sugar is derived from either sugar CANE or sugar BEETS. Both are plants, which places them in the vegetable category. Thus (to repeat my point), chocolate is a vegetable.
To go one step further, chocolate candy bars also contain milk, which is a dairy product. So chocolate and candy bars containing it are a health food.
Chocolate covered raisins, cherries, orange slices and strawberries all count as fruit, so eat as many as you want.
If you have a problem of trying to figure out how you can get 2 pounds of chocolate home from the store in a hot car, I have the solution for you: eat it in the parking lot.
Diet tip: eat a chocolate bar one half hour before each meal. It'll take the edge off your appetite, and you'll eat less.
If you eat equal amounts of dark chocolate and white chocolate, isn't that a balanced diet? Don't they actually counteract each other?
Chocolate has many preservatives. Preservatives make you look younger.
A nice box of chocolates can provide your total daily intake of calories in one place. Now, isn't that handy?
One More…
A friend of mine recently sought counsel for an issue in his life, and came back to me with this funny report...
My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start.
So far today, I have finished 2 bags of chips and a chocolate cake.
I feel better already
TODAY’S WORD
inveterate in-VET-uhr-it, adjective:
1. Firmly established by long persistence; deep-rooted; of long standing.2. Fixed in habit by long persistence; confirmed; habitual
Inveterate is from the past participle of Latin inveterari, "to grow old, to endure," from in- + vetus, veter-, "old." It is related to veteran, "one who is long experienced in some activity or capacity; an old soldier of long service; one who has served in the armed forces
TODAY’S REFLECTION
Paul sent for the disciples. He spoke words of encouragement to them,
said goodbye, and then set off for Macedonia. He gave much encouragement to the people he met on his journey, and then made his way into Greece
Acts 20: 1-2
The word that appears twice is encouragement. Let’s pause for a moment to
focus on one person whom I can set out to encourage today, thinking of specific
ways in which I can encourage that person
Praying Each Day

I agree with Charles! Every day is chocolate day with me. A day without chocolate is just a day that something integral to my being is missing! Sad but true! The hips don't lie! I enjoyed your post as always.
I am not such a lover of chocolate Ma.The most I eat is if someone buys me Turkish Delight covered in chocolate.I do hope you don't get too much snow again.Good grief you have had a bad winter, but yes won't it be lovely to look back on it sat on the beach in all that sunshine we have to come.Have a lovely day.Take Care God Bless Kath xx

You don't have to twist my arm to eat chocolate.... but the only choc in the house is choc chips for cookies... maybe I will bake some tomorrow... hope your car is ok and its just the weather... something like the house making noises in the winter. Spring is getting closer.
