TODAY’S ACTION
It is not always easy to....
TODAY’S QUOTE
Get into the habit of laughing; too many of us have forgotten how to laugh. As people grow older, they sometimes forget that they ever laughed. It is a part of their childhood that they can no longer remember.
Maxwell Maltz
IT’S SATURDAY !!
Here I am once more enjoying a relaxing Saturday morning. How great the weekends are! I have Saturday to relax and re-coup and Sunday to renew and refresh.
Next Saturday may not be so relaxing as most of my family and I will be going to the Stroll for Epilepsy in honor of my granddaughter who I call our Sweetheart. This is a fund raising event for the Epilepsy Foundation of Central Ohio. Of course this is all weather related so I’ll be praying for good weather the 31st.
One of my dulcimer buddies is riding along with me so I won’t have to make the trip by myself. It’s a long drive and I’ll be going there and coming home in the same day. She has become a part of our family over the years and often joins in our family celebrations.
We do celebrate the life of our little Sweetheart who bravely accepts life as it is and tries to do her best every day. We should all be so blessed as to be able to live life and accept it with all its ups and downs as she does.
We had 2 days with temps above the freezing mark and a little of our abundant snow did melt, but today our high will only be 17 degrees they say. It was so nice not to be freezing for a short time anyway. That is another good thing about the weekend—I can stay in and keep warm!
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
For the poor, the sick, the jobless, for those in jail, for those suffering from loneliness or depression. For those suffering with marriage or divorce problems. For those suffering from life threatening illnesses such as cancer, heart diseases, diabetes, leukemia, epilepsy or AIDS. For those suffering from addictions to drugs, alcohol, gambling or gluttony. For all of these we offer our prayers.
Let us pray:
Consider, Oh Lord, Your faithful ones, suffering from bodily and mental affliction, and refresh their lives which You have created
May the blessing of Almighty God, Father,
Son and Holy Spirit descend upon you
and remain for all time.
Amen
Please pray for God’s protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
25 WORDS
God, I thank You for today, for the ways You will bless me,
and for the ways that I will serve others in Your name
TO REMEMBER…
I am in the hands of God,
and in God’s time all things will be made well.
TODAY’S TRIVIA

Today is National Compliment Day. Compliment at least five people today
Remember: Mama said “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything”. After a long search for something good, if you just can’t find a compliment for them, then silence is golden
Today is National Peanut Butter Day

TODAY’S SMILE
THE UNIVERSAL Rx
No moving parts, no batteries.
No monthly payments and no fees.
Inflation proof, non-taxable,
in fact it’s quite reliable.
It can’t be stolen, won’t pollute,
one size fits all, do not dilute.
It uses little energy,
but yields results enormously.
Relieves your tension and your stress,
invigorates your happiness.
Combats depression, makes you beam
and elevates your self esteem.
Your circulation it corrects
without complicated side effects.
It is, I think, the perfect drug.
May I prescribe, my friend. . . . . . the hug!
Author Unknown
I have seen what a laugh can do.
It can transform almost unbearable tears into
something bearable, even hopeful
Bob Hope

And God, who searches the heart, knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
Romans 8:27
God is the way, this moment this day
God knows and shows me the way through every turning point in life. At those times when I may feel at a loss as to what to do, I say: God knows and shows me what to do
