TODAY'S THOUGHT
The kindest word in all the world is the unkind word, unsaid.
Author Unknown
TODAY’S ACTION
If you're angry at a loved one, hug that person. And mean it. You may not want to hug - which is all the more reason to do so. It's hard to stay angry when someone shows they love you, and that's precisely what happens when we hug each other.
Walter Anderson
TODAY’S QUOTE
See people as good and beautiful,
even when they seem to be trying hard not to appear so
Leo Buscaglia
IT’S FRIDAY !!
Yes, we finally made it through this week. It was a hard one to say the least with all our bad weather. We may get some more snow today they say and it’ll be another cold one, but tomorrow the sun may peep out.
When the UPS man came into work yesterday, he informed me that next week we may get another 10 inches of snow…heaven only knows where we will put another 10 inches. Every curb around is piled high and I had some difficulty seeing if any traffic was coming before pulling out of our street Thursday morning.
Thankfully it is looking all clear for the weekend so I’ll be able to make the trip to the Stroll for Epilepsy tomorrow morning. DS#1 says he is making a pot of beans and some biscuits to have when we get back to his house. He’s also going to have some vegetable soup for those that don’t like beans and some cheese pizza for the kids. I’m going to try and put together some macaroni salad this evening to take along and I may take something else too if I get so inspired.
We’ll see…
Take good care all !
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Lord, this day and forever, may I have the generosity
to bear ill-feeling toward no one. Lead me to live in such a way
as to treat others in the same way as I would like to be treated.
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU!
25 WORDS
God, I thank You for today, for the ways You will bless me,
and for the ways that I will serve others in Your name
TO REMEMBER…
I am in the hands of God,
and in God’s time all things will be made well.

Love the farmer joke. When driving with my oldest we've had a few times when we weren't where I wanted to be. He's always concerned we are "lost." My answer is usually, "I'm not lost, just not where I want to be."
So now he asks if we are "just not where we want to be?"
Have a good weekend.
