Most of the time here at my house the joke is on me and I do spend a lot of time laughing at myself.  More than not there is something new to laugh about every day. 

July 1st also marks the middle of the year.  It’s true one half of the year 2016 is over and gone and only 6 months remain.

So in honor of this holiday, I thought I’d include some cute jokes about calendars.

Q: What do calendars eat?
A: Dates!

Q: What did the thief who stole a calendar get?
A: Twelve months!

Q: Why are Saturday and Sunday the strongest days?
A: All the others are weak-days!

From Ben & Jerry's 'Chubby Hubby' to 'Blue Moon' flavor and even Rose Water, Saffron & Pistachio Ice Cream, today's a day to celebrate deliciousness.

It seems like almost anything can be made into a ice cream flavor nowadays.

Ice Cream Pie is the perfect dessert or snack for a hot summer day. Tis is your chance to be creative. You can use any flavor of ice cream. Then, top it off with fruit, whipped cream, nuts or sprinkles.

Ice Cream Pie

1 baked pie shell

Your favorite ice cream
Toppings: fresh fruit, chocolate syrup, sprinkles, nuts, whipped cream

First, fill a baked pie shell with your favorite ice cream.

Now be creative and decorate the top. For example, if you are using strawberry ice cream, add some fresh, sliced strawberries on top. Use any combination of syrups, fudge, sprinkles, nuts, bananas, and whipped toppings.

Making ice cream pie is as simple as that. And, everyone will love it.
