HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY

There is so much to be THANKFUL for.THINKING
For such a time as this...
Esther 4:12-16
I believe we are here by God's plan. We are put here intentionally to live out his purpose in our lives. Where we live, who we are, what we have, and how we use those things are all eternally important
We are incredibly blessed, yet we often focus more on what we lack than on how we can use what we have. We need to realized that God has put us in the position in which we find ourselves. We are living in a time where we can travel quickly, communicating globally in unparalleled ways via the computer and cell phone, and having the freedom to do these things in the name of Jesus.
Who knows, but that we have come to our position for such a time as
this!

National Carbonated Beverage with Caffeine Day
Not every Fun Food Holiday is in recognition of foods or beverages that are necessarily good for you. Maybe that's what puts the fun in them!
National Carbonated Beverage with Caffeine Day acknowledges the importance Americans place on their sweetened, caffeinated soda pop. Here is a food recipe that use cola as one of the ingredients
Coca-Cola Brownies
2cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup butter
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1 cup Coca-cola
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
1 tsp. vanilla
Frosting:
1 cup margarine
1 cup nuts, chopped
3 tablespoons cocoa
1 tsp vanilla
6 tablespoons Coca-Cola
1 box (16 oz.) powdered sugar, sifted
Sift together flour and sugar. Heat butter, cocoa and Coca Cola to boiling point; pour over sugar mixture. Mix butter milk, eggs, baking soda, marshmallows and vanilla and add to mixture. Mix well. Batter will be thin. Pour into a greased and floured 9xl3-inch pan and bake 30 minutes.
For Frosting: Combine margarine, cocoa and Coca-Cola and heat to boiling. Pour over sugar. Blend with mixer until smooth; add nuts and vanilla. Pour over cake while frosting is still hot. Cool and cut into squares.
Makes 2 dozen
PRAYERS
Please pray for several friends and family members all of which are need of help this day.
Lord, please grant employment to one of my sons who is out of work, and please send healing to a friend that is having such pain in her legs, and Lord, another friend is going though a very rough time having broken her foot and needs your healing too. Another friend is having issues with her car and yet another is concerned about her son. I know that there are many other needs not mentioned in my prayer today, but trust that those will be granted too. We all count and depend so much on your help dear Lord. I thank You for Your promise that you will always be with us and for the help and guidance you send each day.
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT's
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
AROUND HOME
A One-year-old child is so many things --
A tiny discoverer of butterfly wings,
A hugger of Teddies,
A sweet sleepyhead,
And someone to dream for in bright years ahead...
I'm so thankful for all of my grandchildren. Some I see often and others rarely. But I love them all so much. To be able to celebrate their lives is a JOY for sure.
I do dream dreams of the wonderful lives they will have. I can only see wonderful things ahead for them. Our world is constantly changing and with change comes possibilities.
I grew up in a world so different from today that often it is hard to imagine what life will be like for them when they become my age. But one thing will stay constant in their lives and that is the fact that they will always have the love of family and that of our dear Lord too, and that will make their lives ones of abundance and happiness.

I am in agreement with you in Jesus name for a job for your son and for the other requests you have mentioned to be answered. Such wonderful wisdom in your entry today. I too am pondering the thought that we are put here for such a time as this and who we are and what we have and where we are has all been for His purpose. I am excited about where He will take me next.
Jut love the picture at the top of this post Ma. How beautiful. Hard to believe he is a year old already! The time does fly by so quickly! Thanks so much for your comments you leave on my page. Very much appreciated. XXOO
