TODAY'S THOUGHT
There is always a lot to be thankful for, if you take the time to look. For example, I'm sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt

TODAY’S QUOTE
Grow old with me!
The best is yet to be

IT’S SUNDAY !!
Today is my birthday and I believe in remembering birthdays with gusto. It’s a celebration of presents, candles, cake, and special wishes. It’s a day to honor life, reflect, and set goals for the future
It is truly a gift to be alive!
No matter how old I get it seems wonderful to have a day that I can call my own. I always try to treat my self as well as I can anyway, but today I’ll be a little better to myself than usual. We only get one day out of the year to be special and I’m going to take advantage of it.
The celebration with my family yesterday was wonderful just because I was able to be with them. That is always an occasion to celebrate. I enjoy all the times we can spend together. They are very precious moments.
I’ve put some pictures of the day on my journal page ‘What’s New at My House’
The link is always found at the bottom of this newsletter.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Life is full of challenges. When we pray to Jesus for help we receive His strength, comfort and courage.
Father of light, in you is found no shadow of change but only the fullness of life and limitless truth. Restore our sight that we may look upon your Son who calls us to repentance and a change of heart
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU!

TODAY’S SMILE
A police car pulled up in front of grandma's house, and grandpa got out. The polite policeman explained that the elderly gentleman said that he was lost in the park and couldn't find his way home.
"Grandpa," said grandma, "You've been going to that park for over 30 years! How come you got lost today?"
Leaning close to grandma, so that the policeman couldn't hear, grandpa whispered back, "I wasn't lost. I was just too tired to walk home
