ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
MARCH 11TH, 2009
TODAY'S THOUGHT
It is difficult to realize how great a part of all that is cheerful and delightful in the recollections of our own life is associated with trees
Wilson Flagg
TODAY’S ACTION
There is always Music amongst the trees in the Garden, but our hearts must be very quiet to hear it
Minnie Aumonier
TODAY’S QUOTE
A seed hidden in the heart of an apple is an orchard invisible
Welsh Proverb
IT’S WEDNESDAY !!
OVER THE HUMP DAY!
We had lots of rain yesterday and I’m hoping we may see a little sunshine later today. The March winds are supposed to be bringing a cold front our way and temps will be going down into the 20’s tonight.
BrrrChill!
I had hoped that we had send the last of the below freezing temps.
I’m back to driving to work in the dark now this week. A few more weeks and maybe the daylight hours will lengthen enough to put me back into the daylight. We do have a full moon but with all the cloud cover, there has been no moon sighting here.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Lord, protect us from what could harm us and lead us to what will save us. Help us always, for without You we are bound to fail
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

John Chapman was a deeply religious person He was known to preach during his travels.
According to legend, Johny Appleseed led a simple life and wanted little. He rarely accepted money and often donated any money he received.
It is believed that he died on March 11, 1845, from what was referred to as the winter plague. The actual date of his death has been disputed.
