ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
MARCH 1ST, 2009
TODAY'S THOUGHT
Every morning is a fresh beginning. Every day is the world made new. Today is a new day. Today is my world made new. I have lived all my life up to this moment, to come to this day. This moment--this day--is as good as any moment in all eternity. I shall make of this day--each moment of this day--a heaven on earth. This is my day of opportunity.
Dan Custer
TODAY’S ACTION
As the month of March begins, we can
pause for a moment in silence to think
of some of the signs that remind us that
winter is past, and spring is upon us -
signs such as daffodils and other bulbs
that have flowered…
May we be Spring to others
and never Winter
TODAY’S QUOTE
Be willing to be a beginner every single morning.
Meister Eckhart
IT’S SUNDAY !!
It’s March ! It’s the beginning of a new month, a new week is ahead of us and today is a new day!
I always love new beginnings. Everything begins clean and fresh like a slate wiped clean and with nothing to hold us back. We are supposed to live in the present and I do try to do that!
I’ll be off to church as always to get my weekly dose of R&R and then home as usual to get ready for another work week.
On my journal page ‘What’s New at My House’ I’m going to be offering some words of wisdom the month of March by sharing a Proverb and a Blessing for you each day. I figured we all need a little of both of these for sure. So check it out if you like.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
God grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can, and the wisdom to know it's me.

name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

Saint David Feast Day - Patron saint of poets and Wales. Wear a leek on this day or a daffodil, being one of the national emblems of the country.
He lived in the southwest corner of Wales, and founded several monasteries. He died about the year 588 in his own monastery of Menevia, where he was also bishop. After his death, the village was re-named “St Davids”. Although only a village, St Davids has a huge cathedral – technically making it a city.
