IT’S SATURDAY !!
I’m really taking it slow and easy here this morning. These work weeks just wear me out. Today I’ll be busy as this afternoon I’ll go to my birthday lunch and then on to DD’s for the party.
I need to do so many things, but don’t feel like it at all. Tomorrow is another day so we’ll see how it goes…
Tonight we set the clocks forward before going to bed so we’ll loose an hour’s sleep. Not really, but I always feel like I’m off an hour when we do this. My auto alarm has been waking me up about 4:30 in the mornings, so maybe it won’t be too bad.
When I went out at lunch time yesterday it was actually warm enough to go with out a coat for the first time this year. It was very windy and no sunshine so by the time I left for the day I put the coat back on.
We have the promise of rain all weekend. That is quite different from most of my birthdays. Usually we have snow and lots of it.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Lord Jesus, teach me to follow your example. Increase my faith, hope and charity so that I may struggle to turn hatred to love and conflict to peace
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU!

Rambling Thoughts: Some folks are so eager to find fault,
you'd think there's a reward.
I only use deodorant under one arm,
so I know what I would have smelled like.
Don't worry about what people think, they don't do it very often.
I wish my mouth had a backspace key.
Many great discoveries are made by not following instructions.

thinking children are naive.

There is nothing wrong with having nothing to say ...
unless you insist on saying it.

Our clocks don't go forward for a few weeks yet. I wonder why it doesn't happen at the same time? I'm with you on taking it easy at the weekend. I work so hard during the week that on the weekend I like to just laze around as much as I can! I keep thinking of all the things I am going to finally get to do when I retire, but then Todd tells me that he is busier now that he is retired than he was when he was working! It's crazy! Have a great weekend!
