IT’S SATURDAY !!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DDIL#6
May the dear Lord bless you today and always!
I had a really good dinner out with DD and hubby last night. Lobster, grilled shrimp on a bed of rice, baked potato with butter and sour cream and those nice cheesy biscuits and a salad. Red Lobster is having it’s Lobster Fest Dinners right now and it was delicious.
With all I ate, I shouldn’t be hungry again for a long time, but I will probably finish my good cup of coffee and go looking for something to eat. I always do.
It’s a good thing I don’t eat like that very often; I’m plump enough as it is.
Maybe my trips up and down the stairs today will help burn off some of those calories. On Saturday’s I usually make quite a few with laundry and cleaning.
I did get to see the full moon on my way into work yesterday. It was beautiful. Of course it probably wasn’t as dazzling as the day it first appeared, but still it’s really bright. Today should be warmer and hopefully sunny so I’m hoping to get outside a bit.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Father, preserve in us a sense of wonder at the marvels of life.
May all that we see around us lead us to you
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU!

Learn About Butterflies Day. It is fun day, because everyone likes butterflies. As we approach summer, we get outdoors and become busy with all of the activities of summer. It's far better to do a little learning in the winter, so we are prepared to better appreciate these colorful, winged creatures, as they re-appear in our backyards

Catch A Falling StarTODAY’S SMILE
Years ago, when Johnny Carson was the host of The Tonight Show, he interviewed an eight-year-old boy. The young man was asked to appear because he had rescued two friends in a coalmine outside his hometown in West Virginia.
As Johnny questioned the boy, it became apparent to him and the audience that the young man was a Christian. So Johnny asked him if he attended Sunday school. When the boy said he did Johnny inquired, "What are you learning in Sunday school?""Last week," came his reply, "our lesson was about when Jesus went to a wedding and turned water into wine."
The audience roared, but Johnny tried to keep a straight face. Then he said, "And what did you learn from that story?"The boy squirmed in his chair. It was apparent he hadn't thought about this. But then he lifted up his face and said,
If you're going to have a wedding, make sure you invite Jesus!
SOMETHING TO DO FOR LENT
Pray for somebody. As you’re walking the streets, driving the highways, sitting in your cubicle at work, or going to a movie, pick out a person who appears to be in need, and pray for that person
