IT’S TUESDAY !!
HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY EVERY ONE
It’s supposed to be a balmy 65 degrees here in northern Ohio today.
I cannot remember such a nice St. Patrick Day. Usually we have snow.
The thing I remember most about St. Patrick Day was that we always had green jello for dessert when the babes were all home. I wonder if they still do it for their families?
Last night DS#5 came over and set up a ‘new to me’ computer desk for me. DS#6 donated his old one which is bigger than the one I had, and now I have several shelves to put things on also. It is nice to have the extra space and I’m sure I’ll have the shelves all full in no time. So a big ‘thank you’ to both of them.
May the Luck of the Irish be yours today!
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Christ shield me this day:
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL !
TODAY’S TRIVIA
Today is St. Patrick's Day, a national holiday in Ireland. This day is not all about leprechauns, shamrocks and green beer. This is a day to honor St. Patrick
In 432 A.D., Bishop Patrick left his home in England and returned to the country where he had once been enslaved. His purpose was to introduce Christianity to the Irish people. Many legends were told about Patrick, including the most famous, that he had charmed all the snakes into the sea, ridding Ireland of them. He was so loved that he was made the patron saint of all of Ireland. St. Patrick’s Day has been celebrated in Ireland on his feast day, March 17th, since the year 461. It is said that St. Patrick used the green-leafed clover to illustrate the Trinity.
We’ll be wearing green or we’ll be be pinched for sure, whether we’re Irish or not ... even though we don’t know how the pinch became part of the day’s traditions. Maybe it’s those leprechauns who started the pinching

SOMETHING TO DO FOR LENT
Today is a day of celebration and thanksgiving. Despite much economic gloom all around, we need to relax and enjoy ourselves on this day. St. Patrick lived through difficult times too but at all times he simply put his trust in God
TODAY’S REFLECTION
Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Up to seven times? Jesus said to him, I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.
Matthew 18:21-22
Today I will forgive those who have repeatedly offended me, just as Christ forgives me.
TODAY’S ADVICE
If you hold a four-leaf shamrock in your left hand at dawn on St. Patrick's Day you get what you want very much but haven't wished for
