IT’S MONDAY !!
Back to Work!
Our weather has been amazing the past few days! Saturday I was able to get out and work in the yard cleaning the dead leaves out of the flower beds and Sunday I came home from church and just sat in my rocker on the patio and basked in the sunshine. It is warmer there than other places outside because it gets the full sun and is somewhat sheltered from the wind.
I sat outside most of the afternoon and believe me it felt good. I’ve had a stuffy head most of the weekend so I’m hoping the extra sun will be clearing that up.
I talked to DS#1 and he said that our Princess has not felt well and missed school all week so we’ll be saying a prayer for her that she is better soon. Hopefully with the nicer weather everyone will be feeling better. Winter has been hard on most of us.
DS#5 called too to say they made it home safe and sound and had a good weekend visiting with DS#6 and his wife.
The week ahead looks to be a quiet one for me. The only thing on the calendar for after work in the evenings is my Thursday evening Bible study.
Take good care all!
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
God of mercy, you gave us new life through baptism, make us grow day by day in your likeness. May our generosity today bring joy to those in need, in helping them may we find you. Help us to do what is good, right and true in your sight, and to seek you always with undivided hearts
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their

Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
God Bless You All!

TODAY’S SMILE
Three elderly gents were talking about what their grandchildren would be saying about them fifty years from now.I would like my grandchildren to say, 'He was successful in business,'
declared the first man.Fifty years from now, said the second, I want them to say, 'He was a loyal family man.'
Turning to the third gent, he asked, So what do you want them to say about you in fifty years?
Me? the third one replied. I want them to say,
He certainly looks good for his age
