TODAY’S QUOTE
The first thing I do in the morning is to make my bed and while I am making up my bed I am making up my mind as to what kind of a day I am going to have
Robert Frost
IT’S THURSDAY !!
We had a little rain yesterday and lots of Wind. What ever cobwebs I had between my ears should have blown out for sure.
It was a good day at work yesterday as I kept busy all day long. Today will probably be a different matter all together. I’m almost dreading Friday as by then there will be little of nothing left to do.
I’m not complaining as I am thankful for a job. But it will be nice when our men are all back to work and I also have some to do.
Today we’ll be cooler again so I’ll put the layers back on.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
It is not only amidst our joys and hopesbut also in our grief and anguish, Lord, that you are with us. Sustain us today in your love
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU!

TODAY’S SMILE
A SMILEAuthor Unknown
She smiled at a sorrowful stranger.
The smile seemed to make him feel better.
He remembered past kindnesses of a friend
And wrote him a thank you letter.
The friend was so pleased with the thank you
That he left a large tip after lunch.
The waitress, surprised by the size of the tip,
Bet the whole thing on a hunch.
The next day she picked up her winnings
,And gave part to a man on the street.
The man on the street was grateful;
For two days he'd had nothing to eat.
After he finished his dinner,
He left for his small dingy room.
(He didn't know at that moment
that he might be facing his doom.)
On the way he picked up a shivering puppy
And took him home to get warm.
The puppy was very grateful
To be in out of the storm.
That night the house caught on fire.
The puppy barked the alarm.
He barked till he woke the whole household
And saved everybody from harm.
One of the boys that he rescued
Grew up to be President.
All this because of a simple smile
That hadn't cost a cent.

TODAY’S REFLECTION
But I have a proof about myself that is greater than that of John. The things I do which are the things my Father gave me to do prove that the Father sent me.

Today I will rejoice that Christ’s works and signs reveal that He is the Son of God
