TODAY’S QUOTE
It is possible to own too much. A man with one watch knows what time it is. A man with two watches is never absolutely sure
HAPPY WEDNESDAY !!
OVER THE HUMP DAY!
Wednesdays seem to bring a promise of good things to come. Once we get though today we’ll only have 2 more days of work til the weekend. Not everyone works, but I think we all pretty much enjoy the weekends.
Tomorrow evening was supposed to be my Thursday evening Bible Study, but I won’t be able to go. We have Trick or Treat Night then so I’ll be sitting on the porch handing out some candy instead. I had almost forgotten about it.
We didn’t have very many children come last year so I didn’t get as much candy. I hope that is the case again this year.
I do hope it warms up a little. It will be chilly out there if it doesn’t.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
God of life,
may we protect and defend the inviolable sanctity of
human life from the moment of conception until natural death
with strong voices, gentle hands, and loving hearts.
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful
and kindle in us the fire of your love.
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU!
25 WORDS
God, I thank You for today, for the ways You will bless me,
and for the ways that I will serve others in Your name
TO REMEMBER…
I am in the hands of God,
and in God’s time all things will be made well.
TODAY IS…DRACULA DAY
The 1931 version of Dracula was the first classic horror film made by Universal Pictures. It was based on Bram Stoker's 1897 novel. The popular vampire story had been made as a silent movie in the 1920s and was also a hit Broadway play. Hungarian stage actor Bela Lugosi starred in the smash-hit theater production and was signed to make the movie. He quickly became the definitive screen vampire, and Dracula was his most famous role. Universal's next picture was the successful movie Frankenstein

TODAY’S SMILE
SINGING
In Mary’s family, her aunt is thought of as a merry old soul because she sings as she goes about her daily routine.
One day Mary took the time to listen to the words of her songs, only to hear, "Now let me see, where did I put my keys?" and "I've got to remember to turn off the oven."
Mary asked why she sang about such trivial things.
"Mary," she answered, "if people hear me singing, they think I'm a happy old buzzard. If they hear me talking to myself, they'll think I'm daft and send me off to a rest home."
(I think I’d better start singing more)
The brook would lose its song if the rocks were removed.

TODAY’S REFLECTION
Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength
Isaiah 40:31
Perhaps you've been to the fair and seen cucumbers grown inside sodabottles or pumpkins in gallon jugs. Young plants placed insidecontainers grow to the space they have. They take on the contours andlimits of their surroundings.Look beyond limitation to possibility!I understand it works with animals too. Put a young fish whose speciesnormally grows reasonably large into a tiny aquarium, and its fulladult size will be suppressed because of the strictly limited space itwas given.
To be a big-hearted, great-souled person is not the unanticipateddestiny of a privileged few. It is the preordained outcome for anyonewho chooses to look beyond limitation to possibility and learns to seean opportunity in every problem
