HAPPY TUESDAY !!
Monday is over and now the rest of the week shouldn’t be quite so bad. It was a busy day but my brain was in the s l o w mode so that didn’t help a thing. All got done anyway so that is what counts. The guys will get paid again this week.
I heard from DS#2 Sunday evening and he has his plans all set to be at our Thanksgiving celebration. His children won’t be coming, but he’ll be here.
Things are going good for him and his good news was that as of right now he is off the list to go overseas this coming year. I’ll be praying that it stays that way. He reminded me that this is all subject to change.
This evening is our monthly dulcimer night when I get together with my friends for a little music and lots of laughter. It can’t be beat as far as stress relief goes.
It’s Terrific Tuesday. They say it is the best day of the week.
We’ll see…
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

TODAY’S SMILE
A sick man turned to his doctor, as he was preparing to leave the examination room and said,"Doctor, I am afraid to die. Tell me what lies on the other side."Very quietly, the doctor said,"I don't know.""You don't know? You, a Christian man, do not know what is on the other side?"
The doctor was holding the handle of the door; on the other side of which came a sound of scratching and whining, and as he opened the door, a dog sprang into the room and leaped on him with an eager show of gladness.
Turning to the patient, the doctor said,"Did you notice my dog? He's never been in this room before
He didn't know what was inside. He knew nothing except that his master was here, and when the door opened, he sprang in without fear."
"I know little of what is on the other side of death, but I do know one thing . . .. . . I know my Master is there, and that is enough
If in our daily life we can smile, if we can be peaceful and happy, not only we, but everyone will profit from it. This is the most basic kind of peace work.

TODAY’S WORD
malfeasance \mal-FEE-zuhn(t)s\, noun:
Wrongdoing, misconduct, or misbehavior, especially by a public official
Malfeasance is derived from Old French malfaisant, present participle of malfaire, "to do evil," from Latin malefacere, from male, "badly" + facere, to do
TODAY’S REFLECTION
You cannot add any time to your life by worrying about it
Matthew 6:27
No one has to remind you of the high cost of anxiety. (But I will anyway.) Worry divides the mind. The biblical word for worry (merimnao) is a compound of two Greek words, merizo (“to divide”) and nous (“the mind”). Anxiety splits our energy between today’s priorities and tomorrow’s problems. Part of our mind is on the now; the rest is on the not yet. The result is half-minded living.
That’s not the only result. Worrying is not a disease, but it causes diseases. It has been connected to high blood pressure, heart trouble, blindness, migraine headaches, thyroid malfunctions, and a host of stomach disorders.
Anxiety is an expensive habit. Of course, it might be worth the cost if it worked. But it doesn’t. Our frets are futile. Worry has never brightened a day, solved a problem, or cured a disease.
