TODAY’S QUOTE
Every evening I turn worries over to God.
He's going to be up all night anyway.
Mary C. Crowley
HAPPY MONDAY !!
BACK TO WORK
The old weather man says that the sun will shine to day for us here in Northern Ohio. I’m happy to hear that for sure. Mondays are by far the hardest of my work days and that sunshine will help !
The camper is just about ready for winter and after I pack away the few remaining items there and the antifreeze gets pumped through the lines it will be officially winterized come next Saturday.
We had some frosty nights this past weekend but if you get a chance to look at my blog you’ll see that we had quite a huge campfire to keep us warm. I put a few pictures on there Sunday evening.
The good cup of coffee tastes better and better as the cold days of fall set in. I’m thinking I may need 2 cups to get me going this morning.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS

name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU!

TODAY’S REFLECTION
Repay to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God.
Matthew 22:21
Jesus’ answer to his detractors was a very clever solution to a trick question. These religious leaders hoped to trap Jesus into making a political statement that painted him either as a revolutionary who opposed paying taxes or as a pawn of the Romans. But Jesus instead gave a profound answer that still challenges us today
We can readily agree that “what belongs to God” is our hearts. We should freely give ourselves to God, offering him our time in prayer and worship and placing him before everything else. But what about “giving unto Caesar”? Does this mean simply resigning ourselves to pay taxes? Probably not. Somehow, “giving unto God” should influence the way we give Caesar his due
When we look at society, we should see it through Jesus’ teaching on justice and mercy. Our service to the poor, our fight for adequate social programs, and our pursuit of justice for the needy really can change the world. Rendering unto Caesar involves actively seeking to advance the kingdom of God so that society is transformed
. Jesus himself calls us to render to Caesar that which will transform our government. The presence of godly and committed citizens can do nothing less
