HAPPY FINALLY FRIDAY !!
We had a nice Trick or Treat night yesterday and I would guess we had close to 60 children come by. It was daylight when we started which is a first as Daylight Savings Time was extended to November 2nd. this year.
The weekend ahead looks pretty quiet except for going to get my flu shot on Saturday and church on Sunday. I should be able to finally get the entire stack of camper ‘stuff’ put away. I did make a pretty good dent in it this week, but I’m not finished yet.
Happy Halloween Everyone!
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !

Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their

in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU!

TODAY IS…HALLOWEEN DAY
Holidays and festivals have been celebrated at the end of October for thousands of years. During the 8th century, the Christian church made November 1st, "All Saints' Day". And the night before was called "All Hallows Eve". Over the years, this name became Halloween. The custom of Halloween was brought to America in the 1800's by European immigrants

TODAY’S SMILE
After years of using the same perfumes, Lori decided to try something different and settled on a light, citrus fragrance.
The next day she was surprised when it was her little boy, not her husband, who first noticed the change.
As he put his arms around her, he declared,
"Wow, Mom, you smell just like Fruit Loops!"

TODAY’S REFLECTION
Paul and Timothy, slaves of Christ Jesus,to all the holy ones in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.I give thanks to my God at every remembrance of you, praying always with joy in my every prayer for all of you, because of your partnership for the Gospelfrom the first day until now.I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work in youwill continue to complete ituntil the day of Christ Jesus. It is right that I should think this way about all of you, because I hold you in my heart, you who are all partners with me in grace, both in my imprisonmentand in the defense and confirmation of the Gospel. For God is my witness, how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus. And this is my prayer:that your love may increase ever more and morein knowledge and every kind of perception,to discern what is of value,so that you may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousnessthat comes through Jesus Christfor the glory and praise of God
Philippians 1: 1-11
My prayer is that your love for each other may increase more and more and never stop improving your knowledge and deepening your perception
May we grow, Lord. And may we grow where you plant us, producing the fruits you want us to bear. May we realize that however old we may be, we are still growing towards you.Lord, may we have the kind of faith that neither looks back with regret nor forward with fear, but simply with great hope in the profound depths of your goodness. Free us from being scrupulous like those who criticized you that day. May we always strive to learn more about the love of the Father.
