ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR THURSDAY, JULY 30TH, 2020
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future and accepts you just the way you are.

I’ve had many friends over the years. Some of my friends are like family and there are others that are family that are also friends. I care about you all and hope that you realize each day when I send this newsletter out I’m letting you know how much I care.
I’ve told you before about how my daughter told her teacher that her best friend was her mother. That made me very happy to know and we've remained good friends over the years, but especially now that she’s grown up. She calls me every day to check in and makes me feel very loved. She, out of all my children is the only one to do that and it’s very appreciated. That is what my pictures are of today, my daughter and me.
Some of my friends have been a part of my life for well over 30 years, since our children were young and we’ve remained friends over the years because of having that in common.
Where would we be without a friend or two to share life treasures with?
Being alone here as much as I am, I’m really never alone due to all of them.
I hope you all have a GREAT day. Happy Thursday!

If you go looking for a friend, you’re going to find they’re very scarce . If you go out to be a friend, you’ll find them everywhere.

The best way to have a friend is to be one...
It is neat that your daughter and you are so close, Ma! Loved all the pictures of you two together. I do think daughters are closer to their moms than sons are though of course sons love their moms just as much. Its good we have lots of technology these days to keep in touch with friends since some visits are frowned upon by the rules of social distancing.

Your daughter telling her teacher that you are her best friend is so incredibly sweet. Love the photos, you are so blessed!
What a blessing, your daughter! I'm especially touched that she makes time to check in with you every day. Oh, what would we be without our friends both physically and on-line! Besides my first cup of coffee, I think I most look forward to blog-strolling. :)
