ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR THURSDAY, JULY 23RD, 2020
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is Gorgeous Grandma Day which is a day to pay tribute to all of the incredible older women out there If you are a female who is aged 50 or older, you should celebrate today by doing things that you really want to do, it doesn’t matter how old you are; you can still achieve anything you want to. Don’t let doubt or stereotypes hold you back. Life is for living as they say.
There are lot of incredible stories about older women who are truly awesome at life. Incredible women who have shown the rest of us that is never too late to make a difference and achieve those life goals. They are the ones who treasure themselves as much as their family and most important they show a love for life.
Happy Gorgeous Grandma Day!
If you can’t see the bright side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Few things are more delightful than grandchildren fighting over your lop.
Doug Larson
I don’t know about the gorgeous part but I do feel pretty special as a grand’ma’. It’s one of the grandest feelings that I know of. I have 21 wonderful grands, one of which is in heaven. They are all so special and are so appreciated and that is what my pictures are of today. Thank you all for making me a grand’ma’. I do have a zest for life and enjoy every day as best I can with what I’ve got and am thankful for every day I’m alive.
Today is my follow up doctor appointment. It’s been 2 weeks since I was put on blood pressure pills and so far I’ve not seen much change in the numbers. I got my own monitor to keep track. So I imagine he’ll be changing my prescription. Hopefully he’ll also let me know about the blood sugar count. I was only told to watch my diet and I have been doing that. I’ll let you all know what he has to say tomorrow.
Neither condition is good so I’m hoping to improve. One thing I know is that I’m not too old to change my ways and am willing to do what I need to do.
We’ve had some much needed rain here and temps are in the mid 80’s which is normal for us this time of year. Although they are saying we may get back up in the 90’s over the weekend.
I hope you all have a GREAT day. Happy Thursday!

Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
If becoming a grandmother was only a matter of choice, I should advise everyone of you straight away to become one. There is no fun for old people like it.

Happy ☺ Gorgeous Grandma 👵 Day!!
You are a gorgeous grandmother, Ma! And so much more!! Kind, compassionate, loving, filled with gratitude; the list could go on and on! I know all of your grandchildren love you so much! Hope the numbers will be good in the doctor's office. Its a time of adjustment for the doctor to see what the best dosage and medicine will be for you. Just keep on what you are doing and I'm sure the numbers will come down in time.

Happy Grandma day for sure!! It takes time to change things so be patient and be encouraged for giving it your all.
Well, I think you're a Gorgeous Grandma with a beautiful heart. Tho' I've only two grands, I love them to pieces. Glad to hear you've a BP monitor to keep track of your numbers. Tom and I've been doing so for years now. Praying for a good doctor's visit!
Happy Gorgeous Grandma Day! I bet every single one of your grands who say you are the most gorgeous grandma ever! Good luck at the doc today, keep us posted.
