ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR MONDAY, APRIL 27TH, 2020
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Crucial elements of stories and storytelling include plot, characters, and narrative point of view.

If you can’t see the bright side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
There’s always room for a story that can transport people to another place.
I think it’s important to keep telling our family stories so that we can pass on our history to people in the future. My folks always told a lot of stories about they way they lived and I like to pass them on to my family and hopefully they’ll pass them along to their children.
My favorite stories to read have always been fairy tales, the stories with a happy ending. These are mostly fictional and yet I still like historical stories too, and some of them are based on the real lives of people . I’ve told a lot of stories in my life and love to read. Libraries are one of my favorite places and I used to take the babes with me when I went. They do have a a lot of good programs for children.
Before all this pandomedic happened, I was able to have my kindle connected to the library so I still get library books all the time to read. It doesn’t cost a thing to do it and I’ve had hours and hours of entertainment from all the books I’ve read. I just finished reading another Daniel Steele book called the Duchess and am starting a new one by Kristen Hannah called Home Again.. On the bookshelf for future reading is What Makes a Family by Debbie Mocomber and Unsheltered by Barbara Kingsolver. There is no end to the books you can choose and I’ve learned a lot from reading books that I’d never have known otherwise.
Telling stories is definitely important so we can pass our history on. I have a lot of real books here too and that is what the pictures of. Lots of stories to read.
I hope you have a GREAT start to this new week. Happy Monday!
