ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR WEDNESDAY, APRIL 8TH, 2020
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is the Intenational Day of Pink which is a Canadian anti-bullying event held annually on the second Wednesday of April . The day started when some boys saw a student being bullied in their high school in Nova Scotia and they supported the student by getting everyone at school to wear pink in support of him.
This initiative has nspired youth to support their peers internationally with resources and ways to make their schools safer. Today celebrate diversity and social inclusion.
If you can’t see the bright side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Pink isn’t just a color; it’s an Attitude too!
Miley Cyrus
Bullys are terrible people and I think they try to hurt others because they are afraid themselves are jealous of what others have.. It’s always good to support anyone that’s in trouble especially when being bullied. They need to know others care about them.
We need to let bullies know that this is not acceptable behavior. We need safe environments in our schools so kids can thrive and grow. We should always show respect for each other no matter what our difference.
Keep in mind that every one is different. Not better or worse, just different. No two of us are alike, we are all wonderful unique creations of God. It would be a dull world if we were all alike.
The pictures today are of some random pink things in my photo album. Think pink today and remember to always be kind.
I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!!

Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
Oh how I loved the pictures and especially the last one. Pink is a happy color.
Bullies are everywhere in life. Childhood, adolescence and adulthood. They are damaged people and seem to be intent on damaging others.
I think it’s a wonderful thing to have this special day! I admire our First Lady and her Be Best program....
I wasn't aware of this (Nova Scotia) initiative .. but, wow. How cool.
Bullying is despicable. Personally, I'm glad to see those individuals put under hard lights and held accountable. Just.Be.Nice!
It is sad when someone is being bullied and someone is a bully. Bullies do need to be called out for their behavior and at the same time try to figure out what makes them that way in the first place. One who is being bullied deserves the support of parents, teachers, other classmates, other adults, etc. Got to stop it as soon as it starts I do believe!
