ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR SATURDAY, JANUARY 4TH,2020
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is Trivia Day which is a chance to share little trinkets of knowledge, no matter how big or how trivial.Trivia are insignificant triffles of little importance , especially items of unimportant information . So every one can join in today by spreading random facts that no one ever needs.
If you can’t see the bright side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Science is an organized pursuit of triviality.
Art is a casual pursuit of significance.
Let’s keep it in perspective.

I hope you do enjoy the trvia I share everyday when I let you know about what we can celebrate each day. These often unknown holidays give us something to celebrate when we need a little lift. At least they are that way for me. Why feel sad, if there is something to be happy about.
My daily trivia comes from a few sites that I visit… One is called Cute Calendar and the other is called Punchbowl. I have a few others too, some are good and others not so much on track, but the first two are usually pretty accurate .
It’s a fun way to start the day for me.
For now it’s just DS#4 and his family here with me, or should I say I’m here with them. It’s their house after all. Every one else should be safely home by today. Thank you all for spending the best Christmas ever with me. I am a very happy mom.
After this weekend everyone has to go back to work and school too, so I’ll be spending the first half of my day sitting here relaxing by the pool and probably reading a book. And of course soaking up some radient sunshine. I sure will miss it when I go home.
Ohio winter days don’t include much sunshine at all and I suffer from it. Meanwhile I have several more days to enjoy so I’m not going to complain, but enjoy every moment.
Trivia says that Florida has sunshine an average of 237 sunny days a year while northern Ohio has only 68 days. That is a lot of difference. I didn’t realize we had so few until I looked it up on Google. Central and southern Ohio get between 72 and 77 days per year.
I hope you all have a SUPER Saturday!!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.

7740.for time spent with family that I don’t often see
7741.for special days to celebrate.
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Trivia are not knowledge. Lists of facts don’t comprise knowledge. Analyzing, hypothesizing, concluding from data, sharing insights, those comprise knowledge. You can’t google for knowledge.

A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…

I'm vaaationing in the Sunshine state and enjoying ever moment of it. It's humid and quite tropical .
You are right...we should celebrate everyday. He makes us nicer, better people.
Wow that is a lot of difference, Ma, with the amount of days of sunshine between the 2 states!! That's kind of like comparing Seattle and Phoenix!! I'm glad you are able to do this vacation and spend some days in the warmer weather! Too bad you can't bottle some of it with you and take it home!

I certainly enjoy the trivia and back stories you share each day! Mostly, I'm grateful you've taken time from your vacation to keep us updated. This beach scene makes me smile!
My daughter and her family live in Florida and I have a grandson living there also. Glad you are enjoying the sun shine and your visit. We live close enough south that we get quit a bit of warm weather with sun shine but here this past week it has been rain and cloudy. Christmas day we needed the air on. Take care, Jean
