ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR FRIDAY, JANUARY 31ST, 2020
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is Inspire your Heart with Art Day, which is a day to ponder how art affects your heart. Art is valued and appreciated for all sorts of reasons. Whether we are touched by music or see into an artists soul through their work, art has the power to change us, to inspire our hearts. The day encourages to explore the many genres of art and let it inspire us. Since art comes in so many forms, the number of ways to celebrate are countless. We could visit an art gallery, attend a live theatre performance, read a good book, listen to music, attend a ballet performance, teach someone to play an instrument, or share our art with others.
If you can’t see the bright side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
It is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye.
Antonine de St. Exuperty
We are all artists in our own way. Some may have the art of fine cooking, some the art of child care, others will be an artist of music, or poetry. There are so many kinds of art.there’s sure to be one that fits each and everyone of us. Being an artist is what inspires our hearts to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time. There is always something that will inspire people to become creative.
What we love to do can be the art we create. I love to do many things. Having a large family has made me very creative. I paint things for the gifts I give them. I love to give but don’t have a lot of money so I make the things I give away. The cost is in time not money.
Today’s pictures are just a few of the things I’ve painted over the years. Whether for Christmas or a birthday. More than not I can find something to fit what ever occasion comes along.
I hope you all have A FANTASTIC Friday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Happy are the painters for they shall not be lonely. Light and colour, peace and hope, will keep them company at the end of the day.
Winston Churchill
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.

Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Creativity is allowing oneself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.
Scott Adams
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…

Let art inspire your heart today!
I know little of 'fine art', but I know what I like … and your works are right up there. That second photo, especially! Nothing can beat homemade/handmade gifts given with love.
I like how you said, Ma, we can all be artists in things we do. Sometimes we don't feel that way if we aren't talented to draw, paint, sing, etc., but we can be artists with child care indeed and so much more! You painted some great things over the years!

I've always been a fan of giving... and receiving... homemade gifts, rather than buying them. Gifts that come from the heart mean more than something mass produced and attached to a price tag. The things you painted are lovely.
Have a wonderful weekend.
