ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR TUESDAY, OCTOBER 8TH, 2019
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is National Fluffernut Day which is a yummy A New England classic sandwich made with bread, peanut butter, and marshmallow fluff. It is now a classic Ameerican treat enjoyed in school cafeterias, college dorms and local diners.
Marshmallow can can be traced back to ancient Egypt when people began to harvest the Marshmallow plant. French pharmacists extracted the juice and heated it with egg whites and sugar creating marshmallow cream.
Then in 1917 Archibal Query of Somerville, Massachusetts created the special formula for the marshmallow fluff we know and love today. The city of Sommerville celebrates with the famous ‘What the Fluff’ festival every year.
Eating a Fluffnutter sandwich is a great way to celebrate today!
If you can’t see the bright side, polish the dull side .

If you’ve never made a fluffernutter sandwich you are missing out on a treat. Simply take 2 slices of white bread Then slather one slice with creamy peanut butter and the other with marshmallow fluff. Then press the two pieces together. It’s a very sweet and gooey treat for sure! I like to have a big cold glass of milk with mine.
This is one sandwich that is like no other. You get protein and a sweet dessert at the same time.
Tuesdays are always my planning day. I make my lists and check the grocery ads so I can make my grocery list. I’ll have to put some marshmallow fluff on the list so I’ll have enough to make up these sandwiches. Ha ! I try to keep it on hand anyway. There is no end to the ways you can use it. You can use it to make S’mores, fudge, frosting, Whoopie Pies, Swiss Cake Rolls and Rice Krispie Treats to name of few.
It’s a staple in my pantry. Did I mention I have a sweet tooth?
I hope you all have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!

Just saying FLUFFERNUT is a fun thing to do, but eating it is better.
Never heard of this sandwich before, only peanut butter and jelly:)
Now I'm singing that song. Wasn't that from the original Mary Poppins?
I'm going to ask Tom if this doesn't sound good. He can have the fluff and the bread, and I'll be a happy clam, over in the corner with my big jar of JIF.
I think a marshmallow festival would be fun to go to! I have never had that type of sandwich. I like peanut butter and marshmallows just never heard of them together! Sounds good though!
