ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR TUESDAY, OCTOBER 15TH, 2019
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Today is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day which is a day of remembrance of pregnancy loss and infant deaths which includes but is not limited to miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS, still birth, or the death of a new born.
The day is observed with remembrance ceremonies and candle lighting vigils, concluding with an International Wave of Light, a world wide candle lighting at 7:00 p.m.
If you can’t see the bright side, polish the dull side .
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
We must remember God’s plan for us is not our plan. God’s plan for us is far larger and better than any plan we can imagine.
Faye Horton
Please join me in lighting a candle at 7 o’clock this evening in remembrance of a grandson who died from SIDS several years ago now. He’d have been 13 on his birthday this year. It was a shock to all of us when he passed away without any warning.at all. We never think of anyone dying that young, he was just 2 and seeming very healthy. It’s something parents really never get over.
I’ll never forget the day that I received that early morning call to go to DS#3’s side. We’d made happy plans for thanksgiving just a couple days away and those plans quickly changed. What was to be a happy family gathering turned out to be a gathering of a different kind. We can make all the plans we want, but God often has other plans for us.
I’m sending out prayers and thoughts today to DS#3 and his family today as they remember their loved one. I will remember and give thanks for the short time we had this little grandson in our lives. He was a joy and we’ll never forget.
On the Bright Side this day comes along to give us a chance to honor all the infants, heavenly angels in our lives.
I hope you all have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!

Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU!

In sweet remembrance of my little angel grandson, in heaven, who will be remberaed always.
I remember you writing about it, Ma, when it happened. Wow to imagine so many years have gone by and he would have been 13! It is comforting that you will see him again one day but I can't imagine the sadness still as his parents and extended family remember the joy he brought for such a short time. I'm glad they have a day to honor such early losses to help parents as they try to cope with the unthinkable of losing their children so young.
betty
I can't begin to fathom the pain of losing a child. Still, I'm holding you all in my prayers. I'm honored to light a candle with you this evening.
What you all experienced and the pain is unbelievable. God bless and keep you all.
I will light a candle.
